Our top 4 has improved but Myers and Edler still don't inspire a lot of confidence and I generally like them. That said I'm still more concerned about our fwd group. We have a lot of meh forwards.

I'm referencing the panic aspect of OJ playing on the top pairing to Podzolkin playing on the first line.

Or we could just stick to the original assertion that OJ is likely to be fine playing in a depth role as Podzolkin will likely be NHL ready when he comes over.

I did at the time. I faced some resistance of course from all kinds of people. Whatever, chalk it up to another overpayment for a veteran presence. At least this one is only 2 years.
