Nashville is a poor example. They put forward a bottom heavy team, with a very good goalie, in a defensive system.

Amd failed to win with multiple tries.

Choosing only the good part of Nashvilke and ignoring the bad part suggests they are independent. Why did Nashville not develop their forward corps? If you look at the answer to that question, I bet you will find it correlated with the development of their defensive depth.

No one said copy exactly what they did. They said we could very well be looking at one of the best d cores similar to how Nashville excelled at this for years. Looking at the defense I can see the correlation. Everything else. No. That logic is terrible.
