Ehh, service members are individuals who can think for themselves and vote for whoever they want. Likewise, the President got the highest share of the minority vote for a GOP candidate since 1960. In any event, Happy Veterans Day! - Sublime55
By the way S55, I did not respond to this at the time because I did not know that the day would soon devolve into a delightful frenzy of insults, but I wanted to address this issue as a matter of common interest.
You are quite right about the %s, but there is a second story there that is not getting a lot of mention. That is, turnout went through the roof for minority voters.
As such, the numerical margin against Republicans for minority vote was also higher than 2016 (because even though they got a larger share, it was stlll very small, and from a bigger total).
I did a little analysis for a political discussion group. 2016 numbers are the conventional ones. 2020 are based off exit polls conducted by the standard agency (Edison).
I used to work for an undergrad program where a lot of students went to law school. I am so glad I don't have to write those letter of recommendation anymore. And face all the begging and crying for grades.
I recommend TestMasters over Kaplan or Princeton Review. - PT21
i forget which bar prep I did. theyre all largely the same to me. i think barbrie or whatever it was. its all a scam haha
three years of law school only to study for a test of competency that can be learned in a three or four week review course? gotta get those tuition dollars i suppose. ill spare you the more cynical view of just cultural elitism enforcing the caste system ha

Passing the bar is a given. But the connections you make, the particular law school you went to, the professors there who will write letters for you is, fairly or unfairly, very, very seriously correlated with your subsequent career.

Yeah
I just finished this yesterday so it was handy.
There is a bit of a false narrative going around regarding the increased ethnic vote shares for R's and so on, so I wanted to do my bit setting the record straight in the few public boards I haunt I mean visit.
Btw, am I correct in that there is no unsubscribe/deactivate option for the Hockeybuzz account? Its like Hotel California?
As far as the scary players to fear. G used to be but I don’t think anymore. I think coots is a player other teams worry about. And provie for d match ups. - Peter Richards
G doesn’t have to be at the height of his star power to be that key piece. If he is as good as Kessel was for the 2016 Penguins for example, that would do it.

totally get all of that, but yet again, that speaks more to my last point of the continuity of the social caste.

thats an apt example, but without being a Richard, you guys dont have a crosby or malkin circa 2016 on the team. that being said, i dont think you need two, but you do need one. coots/hayes are a great pair, but they arent that.

You are very kind. We dont have anyone in that stratosphere.

neither do the pens anymore ha. like i said, sports are cyclical. no sense in being cocky about things.
Funnily enough, i think giroux would be an absolutely incredible fit on the pens right now (in a non capped universe, of course). He could have easy offensive minutes as a winger and then be the missing righty component on a power play. he may be experiencing some overall decline, but he would still be an absolute lethal variable there.

I have a higher opinion of Coots than some, ahem. You’re right, we don’t have two yet. We might not need two. It will depend on matchups.
I like Patrick a lot and he is very far away from most people’s current “hopes,” yet he remains the best chance for this season. Frost isn’t expected to be fully ready this season.

I promise not to be cocky if the cycle ever reaches the high point of the arc. For us, its been more like a very gentle wave, like a Sine Curve with very small amplitude.

Coots is a stud. hayes is really good too. but neither are going to consistently be "that guy" to drive offense as needed to continue along with this comparison. that being said, i dont think you need someone quite up to that level if the rest of your team is solid. I do however think there needs to be a higher level offensive piece added at some point to make that true leap, and im not quite sure it can be found through internal development.

i mean the flyers are routinely good every year. that makes it more difficult to be truly great. i know the multiple ways of team building have been discussed here ad nauseum, but still.
very seldom laughingstocks, very seldom world beaters. but then i guess you do spare yourself when the foot inevitably drops.

In life, people generally are ok with avoiding the very highs to not experience the very lows (dangerous drugs, gambling with your retirement for low odds events, etc. etc.) .
But in sports its the reverse. But our fans are too impatient.

a billion percent to the first.
and to the second, but the first is achingly correct haha

Perhaps you also thought Guentzel’s 2017 playoff performance was unexpected. He was only 22.
