really eh? must be interesting loll... today though the new movies are constantly being criticized, even if they're still making a poopload of money. it's a tired franchise, but they just can't help themselves from making new ones. at least there are decent spin-offs, like the mandalorian

The new trilogy was a travesty.

I ended up watching all of them because I'm a fan of the franchise, but it took wayyyy longer than it should have for me to watch rise of skywalker because I knew it would be a complete mess after the putrid sack of garbage that was the last jedi.

Bottom line, thank god for spinoffs and the clone wars series to keep Star Wars decent.

this is the conclusion most fans come to. yet the movies are far from being flops at the box office, the profit is there, so it's hard to stop making crap if it's making you a boatload of money lol

I consider myself a very "casual" star wars fan, and I definitely prefer the first trilogy. and the Mandalorian is pretty (frank)ing good

I was one of the few fans who didn't dislike the prequels back in the day.

I understood they were flawed in some ways but I was just happy to see the Anakin Skywalker story.

I'm not hard to please when it comes to movies. I watched Aquaman the other day and thought it was great.

1, 2, 3 were good movies, full of lore with terrible acting.

"episode" 7,8,9 were terrible movies with good actors and special fx

Samuel L Jackson as Mace Windu? Amazing.

And no one else can ever play young Obi Wan after Ewan Mcgregor's oscar worthy performance.

Oh and Nathalie Portman? Just for the hotness I forgive her everything.

The guy playing Anakin was kinda bad though.

Not hearing him say "Use the force motha(frank)a" was kind of a letdown.

The more I heard/read about Mysak, the more I think this could turn into a great pick.

Is Plekanec still playing? Must be the only reason he's not employed by the Habs as a scout/player developement guy?

Yesterday I left the office in a rush. I get to my son's daycare and realise I forgot my mask.

Then I spot a turtleneck I had in my car, so I wen't (frank) it. I changed in the parking lot to put the turtleneck on and used it to cover my face to go get my boy.
