And to me putting Covid on the death certificate on someone who is 92, has brain-lung-kidney-heart cancer is manipulating the stats
- MortChicken

For what it's worth, people who are 92 usually don't die from Cancer.

Their cells regenerate so slowly that the cancer spreads just as slow and never kills them.

I honestly don't think there were that many documented cases of "this person was gonna die next week, caught Covid first and died from it".

No they extrapolated the data from expected death of cancer and saw that there was 570 less.

So unless we cured cancer there's an anomaly there.

J'ai une amie qui travaille dans le domaine. Je te confirme qu'ils ont même fait des tests de covid sur des cadavres pour en être certain.

Tandis qu'en Ontario: "Oh well, he's/she's dead. Moving on."

- stinger67

C'est pour ça que les stats de COVID sont un peu de la marde.

I fail to see why a medical study made by a commerce school should be taken seriously.

I agree, but you have to have a certain numbers of science to back up your decisions when you close certain sectors.

Like yeah we are closing this sector because X numbers of case were reported in this. Not yeah we feel like it this week.

- MortChicken

I don't disagree with you there. There's at the very least a lack of transparency on why some decisions are made, we've talked about it plenty.

MOVING ON.

KK got an assist yesterday. Bringing his totals to 1 assist in 5 games in Finland.

The title of the article on TVA sports?

It's a statistical analysis not a medical study.

Yeah it's harder for him he doesn't Hudon to pass the puck to on the powerplay for the easy assists

Again, it's just stats. You can't make a full conclusion with just these elements.

Just like I shouldn't use CORSI alone to determine if a player is a star or not.

What about the "expected goals" stat? (my favorite)

I'm sure there's a very complex scientific method of calculating this

I expect a little dip in his stats, when everyone is healthy he'll probably play on the 4th line. But it's ok
