Yeah that's how I've been seeing him. Now Podz could slot on the left wing being a left shot. Options there depending on Hogs impact and what JV does. The hope is that the 3 of them fill in the top 9 and shotgun Bo post Pearson. That leaves the Canucks #1 trade pursuit of getting a top RSD. We'll see how it pans out. Need a season to get things going.

Pearson's a UFA after the season, he's playing top 6 and has value. People are already penciling in Pod & Hog if at all that's possible. Pearson and a prospect and/or pick may get you that RHD.

I don't know too many RHD that make under 3.75 a season that aren't on ELC's. Maybe next season once they know that Rathbone, Rafferty, Chatfield, Brisebois, OJ aren't full time NHL ready.

Obviously there are NHL caliber defenders on the roster that are going to play. Baumy needs to find some pairs that compliment each other. It's great that he will have so many choices.

Brisebois, Chatfield, Sautner all require waivers. I can't imagine any of those 3 are picked up. They don't have the same pedigree as Corrado did.

Not now, that projection is for long term goals. Just like the prospects fitting into top 9. When Canucks free up cap then target would be cap strapped team and offering package of picks and prospects.

honestly im not so sure we fare well in a all Canadian division. I think Carol did a great job of showing each matchup.

I’m usually pretty optimistic, but youth in the defensive zone spells growing pains to me. I see a non-playoff team, but the kids are the ones that led us last year and no reason to not think they can’t again.

I worry about these prospects that have potential depending on their development workload. Covid is really short-stopping their chances of NHL success I think.

He's working the phones, surprised everyone with Schmidt. Carolina, Tampa are pretty deep on D. If he gave up a first, there would be calls for his head. A second + for a young quality player wouldn't be bad. I'm sure there's deals to be had out there.
