Got TB Hedman 👍
I don’t recall who Av’s got. Makar? - Nighthawk
Tampa Bay already had Hedman and Stamkos and then got Slater Koekkeok at 10 and Drouin at 3 after getting up to 10th in the league.

Pearson's a UFA after the season, he's playing top 6 and has value. People are already penciling in Pod & Hog if at all that's possible. Pearson and a prospect and/or pick may get you that RHD. - VanHockeyGuy
Depends on where they all (team/players) will be at by TDL. The prospects will be in tough to fill in the top 9 their first season, let alone 2 top 6 spots. If no playoffs, then yes asset manage Pearson by trade. Though there may be more D prone to expansion draft that might hit market around then. |

Bo has been playing with glorified 3rd liners since Boe moved up to Pettersson line, this article doesn't make sense..... - Pres.cup
"Their whole top 2 lines were dependent on Toffoli taking up that spot on the 1st line"?
He played 10 games. Not all 10 had him on that top line.
No wonder there's no author credited and the source is a nameless scout. Who would put their name beside that poop?

He's working the phones, surprised everyone with Schmidt. Carolina, Tampa are pretty deep on D. If he gave up a first, there would be calls for his head. A second + for a young quality player wouldn't be bad. I'm sure there's deals to be had out there. - VanHockeyGuy
There's lots of teams out there that are trying but nothing seems to be moving. Still quite a few decent UFA's out there even. RFA's have been signed already though. |

I worry about these prospects that have potential depending on their development workload. Covid is really short-stopping their chances of NHL success I think. - boonerbuck
There's going to be a lot less hockey for everyone (including our young players Petey, QH et all. So training and maturing is their only advantage. The vets just have to maintain and stave off father time. |

Yeah, it's too early right now. I don't like the idea of throwing the D kids to the wolves. I'd rather they made a good deal in lieu of signing a Hamonic for example.

if toffolli was only around for 14 games, wasn't and isn't needed, was the trade worth it?
discuss. - RealityChecker
In hindsight no. But that is due to Covid more than anything else. If he finished off the season and then went in to the playoffs with the team it would have 100% been worth it. |

honestly im not so sure we fare well in a all Canadian division. I think Carol did a great job of showing each matchup.
I’m usually pretty optimistic, but youth in the defensive zone spells growing pains to me. I see a non-playoff team, but the kids are the ones that led us last year and no reason to not think they can’t again. - neem55
Our latest records against them says true.
The next wave of kids & how well recent ones do will determine how we fair indeed. |

I agree, I'm not sure the d prospects are ready for full time, maybe Joulevi but I still think another deal will be in the works. |

Lots of wait & see going on. Protection lists will be a big factor. Gonna be fun.
Will JB pull the trigger? If he sees a more immediate need then yes. He likes to be active so I lean towards a move or 2 coming. |

I’m against Hamonic. Not worth the effort imo.
Better to run with the kids. Carol says so 👍😂 |

Why not focus on the cap & not make it any harder?
Bite the bullet might be difficult to some ppl to live with but forcing more pressure on the cap isn’t going to help long term. |
