Good job Mike.
You had an opinion so bad people are actually discussing the contents of the blog.

Can you please explain to me how Toronto is at a disadvantage over Vancouver?
Montreal and Ottawa are both much closer to Toronto than Calgary and Edmonton are to Vancouver. Vancouver changes time zones on every away game.
If anything I'd say the east has an advantage over everybody except for possibly the Alberta teams. - golfingsince
Well he didn't say they had bigger disadvantage than Vancouver, but yep.....Vancouver |

If all teams have the same amount of home games, now I'm just taking a guess here, the west would have to fly to the east more often. |

It would be pretty awesome to have a bunch of Leafs vs. Habs games, those are always good. Nice to see McRichard a bunch of times too. |

i really dont care, and dont think its a disadvantage..it might be easier for a team to come east and play a few hours earlier than Leafs/Sens/habs going out west and playing at 10pm..assuming they play at that time
its a big shrug for me

Damn, is this Stanley Cup win for the Leafs going to be tainted like last year’s? Leafs can’t catch a break. |

It makes zero difference to me either, whats a 4 hour flight matter every two weeks and will their even be a four hour flight for the leafs? Say they fly to Winnipeg and then Calgary, Edmonton and back to back in Vancouver, then work their way back. |

And I doubt they make the major populace watch that many games that late, bad for their only remaining revenue source. |

He meant, Go Sens, to the AHL. Then the west teams would have to fly to the east even more. |

I love bellyaching for bellyaching’s sake, but it doesn’t really matter if we like the Canadian division.
The ‘rona is raging across North America.
The border isn’t going to magically open in the next four months. - Atomic Wedgie
Well.
There's nothing magical about it.
They could simply allow sports teams through, like the thousands of people still coming and going across today.
People are crossing the border, its not completely "closed".
However i do understand that biden taking over could change things |

As Wedgie said, it's happening. Doesn't matter if we like it or not.
I for one, like it very much.
Competition will be very fierce between the teams and playing each other so many times can only boost the rivalries between canadian teams.
And hey, No Tampa in the way for a team to win the division! |

I'm guessing no one? Weber doesn't drop the glove often.
I don't think many want to go down that road and he's way too important on the ice.
I could easily see Anderson dropping the glove to show his new team how tough he is, get injured again and miss half the season.

He'd definitely end up on top of him at the end (like Chara usually does), but Simmonds is a pretty wily fighter. |

More likely is Rielly or Matthews getting smashed through the boards by Anderson imo. |
