Your cherry picking is impressive.
Lets cut to the chase....heres ALL I need for my argument. THIS will be my point from here forward and nothing else...
So...youre saying the Chiefs just gave Mahomes 50 million a year because why?? He hands off so well and the running back REALLY want him as the guy handing the ball off as they rely on their ground game??
50 million a year to be of secondary or tertiary importance to the team….
Sound logic. - Blockhead
Right, and that very same team spent a first round pick on CEH and went and picked up Bell off the street.
I never once said the QB position is not important. It is essential to have good QB play.
As long as you don’t have a bottom 10 QB though you can win in this league if you have a top end defence and a strong running game.
What did Elway’s stats look like in his SB Wins ?
Peyton Manning in 2015 was the worst QB in the league.
Dan Marino and Phillip Rivers have 0 rings even though they were both elite QB’s throughout the duration of their primes.
This year half the league is getting very good QB play without fan attendance. What’s going to set those teams apart is who can get the stops on defence when needed to and whom can possess the ball the longest (running game is huge in time of possession).

I don’t know if any of them could’ve knocked it away? It looked Hopkins jumped/reached up and grabbed it at a higher point before any of them could even reach it.
Edit: I guess they could’ve focused on trying to get a hand in between his hands and knock it loose from his grasp as he was coming down with it. Idk. - Ratsreign
I realize the game is played fast, and what we are talking about occurs in a split second...however, the go to in the Hail Mary is to swat the ball away, and be physical with the receiver at the point of the catch...aggressively knock the ball and arms/hands away ... not PI as someone else stated, but not the passive stick-my hand-up and let's hope for the best. I suspect those 3 guys are all disappointed with how they defended the catch. |

It just looked like when Poyer leaped in he actually hit White, could be wrong. |

Grasping at straws now.
Look at what’s happened to Wilson since Chris Carson got hurt.
Seahawks lost again yesterday.
The Patriots have always been efficient on the ground even with Tom Brady and have always had very strong defences.
That’s why Brady has 6 SB’s and Aaron Rodgers (the best QB of this century) only has 1 - Pegullaville
This is what you’re doing. This can go both ways
How’ are the Ravens doing now that teams figured out the RPO and Jackson has to sit back and throw from the pocket more? They’ve lost 3 of their last 5
How’s that sustainability of the Bears defense? They were one and done in the postseason two years ago with the top defense, missed the playoffs last year, and this year look like a fringe team.

I don't know but it actually looked like White was about to knock the ball out when he got hit by Poyer. |

Their offence is putrid. That’s why. I wouldn’t call neither Foles nor Trubisky average and their running game is terrible.
Deshaun Watson is the best QB in the AFC South and his team is 2-7. Is it Watsons fault he has the worst running game and worst defence in the league ?
In fact, the Texans have had a top 5 passing offence for the last 3 years and haven’t won squat. |

two posts ago you called Phillip Rivers "elite"....now hes at best, 2nd best in his weak division? keep on changing that narrative..
I can easily name 12 QBs better than Watson, maybe 15 |

Pretending anyone knows the specific formula to be great in the NFL is as smart as Botterill.

It will obviously be just for this week, because of the bye, but Josh Allen is leading the NFL in passing yards |

Right??
Its not like QBs are drafted in the top 3 every year. one year the stud running backs get picked first...then the linemen...then the linebackers.....if a great QB was the absolutely mandatory thing to have, theyd be picked at the top of the draft every year.....oh...wait.... |

Trade him while he's hot for a good quality guard. I hear that's what it takes to win it all. |

How’s those Leonard Fournette, Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, draft picks looking? Absolutely vital to those terrible teams they’ve been on for 2-3 years |

Well that's not true, not always a Quarterback worth it. |

Yes, I called Phillip Rivers elite during his “prime”.

In the matchup between Mahomes and Allen, the team that won ran for almost 300 yards, the other team didn’t. |

Using a single game example to pretend that you need an explosive running game to win in the NHL is ludicrous.

In a unbelievable loss on a miracle play with 2 seconds left, I still can't believe that Tyler Bass isn't getting more love..54, 55 & 58 yard FG's is incredible...and each had enough distance to hit from 60 -65 yards.
His accuracy from 30 - 39 yards needs to improve no doubt, but the Bill's aren't in that game without those 9 points.
Take note Kim, new stadium needs to be a retractable dome. |

When is the last time Brees won a SB ?
How about Rodgers ?
How about Big Ben ?
Heck Wilson hasn’t won anything since the legion of boom turned into the legion of gloom.
Just need an Elite QB right ?

Jesus dude, you just listed 4 QB's who make the playoffs every single year, and literally all of them have been to multiple super bowls.

Rodgers lost in the NFC championship to an elite defence and a team that racked up 200 + yards on the ground.
Rodgers lost two weeks ago to the Vikings the exact same way. See what that guy Dalvin Cook did ? All of a sudden Kirk Cousins looks like an NFL QB again.
Seahawks have been early playoff exits even with Wilson the last few years because they can’t stop anyone on defence.
Steelers haven’t had playoff success in some time.
