Oh, so how many Super Bowls have Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook been to? - sbroads24[/quote
So Goroppolo, Goff, and Foles
being to more Super Bowls recently then Big Ben, Rodgers, and Brees make them better QB’s
Or did they have better overall teams ? |

Goff threw for 4700 yards and 32 TD's the year he went to the SB.
They went 9-7 last year when he threw 10 less TD's, more picks and a full yards less per attempt.
You need a great offense to win. Having a great QB is he surest way to sustain grea offense |

Right, and Todd Gurley and a run oriented offence had nothing to do with Goff’s numbers that year ?
Goff is a system QB and an average QB at best.
Just like Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee.

Using a single game example to pretend that you need an explosive running game to win in the NHL is ludicrous. - TheSabresTaco

The Sabres retro was a fail. The goat head should’ve been the jersey. According to the athletic. The Sabres has 50 designs to chose from.
And I actually did like the red version of those jerseys.
The avs and flames won for the best jersey throw back |

I heard the run and gun works well in the playoffs according to Leafs fans. No truculence or strong defensive play needed. Just go out there and score 5 goals a game because it’s not like things tighten up in the playoffs. The Leafs have two
Top 5 Centers in the game, must be their fault they can’t win a playoff series not the fact that they roll out a defence corps that doesn’t defend.
Just like in football, just spread them out and throw 45 times a game. All you need is a QB. It’s ok if you can’t run the ball or stop the run to save your life.

Wait, was Derek Henry in Tennessee when Mariota was the starter? Super weird that once they upgraded at QB and WR they became a viable offense |

The Titans beat the Chiefs in the regular season last year because Henry ran for 200 yards.
In the AFC championship game they held Henry to under 70 yards rushing and the rest is history.

This will be the first Sabres jersey I bought since 1995.
Probably buy another regular jersey eventually.

Yes, the AFC championship game. Where they were absolutely not making it there with Marcus Mariota |

Yeah, thank god the KC defense was talented enough to allow them to overcome Mahomes shoddy 3 PaTD, 1RuTD performance. They wouldnt have got there if all he could do was 4TDs. He really used that exceptional defensive performance to jettison him to 50 mil a year. Thank god for the pluggers. |

Tampa Bay has been the best offensive team for years and only won the cup once they played lights out defensively and Vasilesky made the saves he needed too.
Mahomes won MVP in 2017 yet lost in the AFC Championship game.
The Chiefs come back a year later with a better running game and a top 10 defence and win it all.
Bills aren’t winning anything until they establish a ground game or stop somebody from running all over them wether Allen ends up winning MVP or not. |

Think we can lure Dilfer out of retirement? Then we can trade Allen for a depth OL |

Go re-watch the Super Bowl and tell me the Chiefs win without Williams averaging 6 ypc and the defence holding the 49ers to 20 points.
Mahomes doesn’t have time to come back in the 4th quarter if it wasn’t for the defence keeping them in it for the better part of 3 quarters while he had a 37 QBR.

Hard not to dislike the sabres selection for their throwback. I mean come on for (frank)s sake they just went back to royal permanently this year, why make your thirds the same color?
Perhaps they didnt want to run into the same issue they had with running out of 50th anniversary jerseys |
