So just to be crystal clear. The guy that has won the league MVP, the Super Bowl MVP, and then was awarded with a 50 million / year contract, really had very little to do with them winning the Super Bowl. And all those people that make millions of dollars collectively to decide who wins those awards, and who to pay and who NOT to pay, are wrong. The Chiefs will own the AFC West for the next 10 years but whether or not they win more rings will be dependant on if they can run the ball and defend when they need to.

Having an elite QB makes you a consistent playoff team but the rest is up to the supporting cast.

Running backs are a dime a dozen. You pretty much can throw at RB in that chiefs backfield and be fine with that system.

Defensively they are pretty average.
