That's rough calling that a drop on Fitzgerald when the pass was bad. - kingcong39
It was a bad pass, however he had control of the ball going to the ground. |

It looked like he was still trying to get control of it and that's why it came free.
There's no way I can call that a drop after watching the play. |

Regardless it was a very fortunate bounce for the defence.
Cardinals were calling game on that drive until that play. |

The teams acquiring WR Stefon Diggs and DeAndre Hopkins are a combined 13-6. The teams trading those two receivers are a combined 5-12 |

Not sure what either team's defensive coordinators were thinking by allowing them to be traded.

The Bills offense is averaging more PPG than they have in like 20 years and I’m supposed to care if they run? |

Thanks for sharing. Just took a quick look...
Colorado’s Nordique Jersey is sweet. That looks really good.
I like Carolina’s Whaler, too.
St Louis took their worst jersey ever, and worsened it.
The best is seeing the OG Panther once again, and the palm tree/stick shoulder patch, too.
Edit: always did like the Rags’ Lady Liberty jersey. Interesting camera angle for Chicago’s jersey, can’t really see the logo. |

He has a point about the Super Bowl games themselves, and a better running game does still have a place in this league. However, if Kansas City were to make their gameplan against the Bills this year their identity, there is almost 0% chance they make the Super Bowl.

Man give it a rest, you have such a hard on for the bills to be bad. You seriously seem like someone who jerks it when they lose. - Carubba-Kaleta
I’m a realist.
I called for the Bills to win 10-11 games this year and the AFC East this past offseason.
Guess I hate them. |

The Bills are never going to win the 1976 Superbowl until they run 200 yards a game |

Cardinals win that game by 10+ if Peterson doesn’t spot them 13 points. - Pegullaville
Cardinals lose if one of 3 Bills players deflect that ball from Hopkins.
Cardinals lose if they miss a FG attempt
Cardinals lose if the Bills had one more pick.
Give it up.

One good way to win is to have an elite offense. Another good way to win is to have an elite defense, provided your offense is able to be around average. Another great way to win is to be elite on both sides of the ball.
It is exceptionally rare that a bad QB wins a super bowl.
Having a run game of any competency opens up defenses. All teams need a semblance of a run game. Most teams do not require an elite, or even top 10, run game to win in the NFL. |

My personal favorite prospect Jack Quinn is officially on the books. Wonder if there'll be any alteration to xfer rules for the rona this year. Keeping these prospects in a peewee no hitting league will be a serious detriment to their development. |

One thing that is usually left out of these discussions is that most great/good passing teams also have good rushing stats because they end up being ahead and running the ball in fourth quarters and to kill game clock.
It's incredibly simple to figure out
The best rushing attacks in the league average 5-6 yards per attempt
The *worst* passing games in football average 5.5-6.5 yards per attempt.
Passing is measurably more effective.

He could go to Europe with Mittelstadt.
Mittelstadt will go to Norilsk, Russia where he will eat nothing but gruel and bear meat. Toughen him up |

Even if they are leading in the game, they still have to run for those yards regardless. The defence can always, you know, stop them ?
No lead is safe in the NFL.
You can say the same thing about passing yards being inflated because of QB’s playing from
Behind.
It depends on the game and the context and the situation.

I witnessed the Bills score 5 ground and pound TD’s in a row to come back on the Oilers in the Wild Card game |

Sure, and I watched the Broncos win Super Bowl 50 with 188 yards of offence beating the league MVP in Cam Newton that year.
Without Terrell Davis does Elway get 2 rings ?
Joe Flacco has the most wins all time by a QB on the road in NFL history and has as ring.
Eli Manning has two. |

The Capitals retro jersey uses the cool screaming eagle logo on a red jersey.
One of the coolest of the retro jerseys. |

I really like the Panthers reverse retro too.
I think Chicago is hiding the logo on purpose out of embarrassment of what their logo means and conveys. |
