James Robinson for the jags is 5th in rushing for nfl
jags suck
Gurley is 10th
falcons suck
Leonard Fournette was 7th best running back last year, jags couldn't even get a draft pick for him
patriots have a top 10 d, they suck
washington is 12th for d, they suck
This is a very good post. The NFL has and will be a quarterback driven league.
Who's winning with defense and a running game and Average qb play ?
Flaccoville just can't see thru his narrow vision
look at the best qb's in nfl this year, the best qb's in each division are either first or second place in their division - homiedclown

Who had the Titans making noise in the AFC playoffs in week 10 of last year ?
Still a lot of football left to be played.
The Patriots aren’t dead yet, and they are a Justin Zimmer forced fumble away from being one game back in the division.
The Jags are openly tanking.
Falcons should have fired Dan Quinn earlier. They are 3-1 since Morris took over. Gurley scoring instead of falling on the 1 would have them at 4-0. Amazing what happens once you start playing defence.
Let’s see what happens in the playoffs. I’ll bet the teams still hanging around after the divisional round will be the teams have rank in the top 10 in both scoring offence and scoring defence.

Ok Boss, how do you differentiate all of the playoff teams then ?
There are going to be at minimum 10 fantastic QB’s in the dance ?
I’m going to take the teams that can achieve balance on offence, with the strong defence.
Defence travels. |

I'd put smith in the 6-10 range
same as where I would put OJ
1. payton
2. brown
3. sanders
4. campbell
5. dorsett
throw 6-10 in the air and see where they land
smith
oj
d!ckerson
sayers
tomlinson - homiedclown
I never saw Brown play, but the highlights and universal GOAT regard might easily put him top-2, imo.
That said, of the players I have seen, OJ was the best until Sanders came around. OJ's cutting ability and instant 0-60 acceleration was legendary. Especially when you consider the weather conditions he played in.
Sanders came along and had that, as well as the uncanny ability contort his way out of difficult situation with the balance and power of an Olympic gymnast.
After those three, take your pick of Swetness, Richarderson, Dorsett, Emmitt Smith and Campbell.
Quick note: what Bo Jackson accomplished was astonishing, just not enough seasons |

The Sabres draft embedded episode was basically
Jack Quinn no matter what.
They didn’t think about Rossi
I wonder who called up the Sabres to move up for picks
The video was hard to watch how inexperienced Adams and company is - Sabretooth9
he says that they're gonna be ready for any situation and that they'll see how it unfolds...
there is no situation or no amount of "unfolding" that would lead anyone to believe that quinn would not be available at No. 8...he was a lock there...just bogus, really...
that said, i hope quinn is all that and a bag of chips...i really do |

There were rumors Ottawa was thinking about taking him at pick5 |

Now it's "scoring defense" not regular defense. You just keep changing the rules kid.
Something i've noticed in life. People that can't admit they are wrong, eventually change the argument.
Every team that makes the nfl playoffs will have a better than average qb.
Mark my words , an average qb DOES NOT finish in the final 4 championship spots.
It will be all great qb's

possibly...but that doesn't make a lot of sense considering the talent they had waiting for them at No. 5: the two best d-men, drysdale and sanderson plus forwards holtz, rossi, perfetti, all of whom were rated higher than quinn

Hard to leave Marshall Faulk off of any top 10
A. Peterson
Thurman was better than emmitt many of those years (best all around back)

Man, Bo Jackson may have been right up there with the greatest if not for that injury. He was something else. OJ was older by the time I remember watching him, but I’ve seen the highlight reels of how good he was. Payton was in the later stages of his career before I really paid attention, but you could still see the Sweetness. Well said about why Jim Brown is at the top of the list.
Barry Sanders is the greatest running back that I’ve actually seen play his whole career.

They were just rumors....
but maybe they thought Quinn was that talented too?
It’s not like putting out fake news that they liked him would give any type of an advantage |

Barry Sanders would be difficult to guy to argue against. Ever.
Hard to say if he's the best, harder to say he wasn't. Eye test anyways.
Emmitt has the stats.

Barry did something jaw droppingly amazing with great frequency.
Emmitt was very good, too, and has the trophies to go along with those stats, but Sanders was just up on his own level, imo. |

Goroppolo, Goff, Foles.
That’s 3 average QB’s and that’s just the last 3 years.
Since you’re so obsessed with Flacco, you’ll be surprised that he’s won more road playoff games then any other QB in NFL history. Why ? Cause defence and a running game travel.
Kapernick played in a Super Bowl behind a strong running game and a defence.
Here are the list of QB’s that have beaten Drew Brees in the playoffs, presumably one of the best that has ever done it.
Rex Grossman
Matt Hassleback (Marshawn Lynch)
Case Keenum
Kirk Cousins
Alex Smith
Jared Goff (albeit due to the refs)
Russell Wilson
Drew Brees record in the playoffs 8-8
Peyton Manning finished 14-13 (won 3 of those games in 2015 when he was useless)
Two elite QB’s of my generation are a combined 22-21 in the playoffs lol.
Elite QB’s get you into the playoffs every year and then lose to the average flash in a pan QB with a strong running game and top end defence 😂😂😂
The exceptions being Brady and soon Mahomes.
Yet 3 of Brady’s 6 Super Bowls came when he had average at best passing statistics (2002, 2004, 2019).

You can't trust embedded about what they thought about and said behind closed doors. They edited out their discussions about the other players and only left a bit of what they said about Quinn and some deciding words.

This year Kirk Cousins beat Aaron Rodgers and attempted 14 passes the entire game, Cook had 30 carries for 163. The other Packers loss Brady threw for 166 and the Bucs rushed for 160 yards in a 38-10 win. Run the ball and play good defence, where have you heard that before ? 49ers beat Rodgers twice last year doing the exact same thing.
Russell Wilson looks like a lost puppy ever since Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde got hurt, their defence can’t stop anyone and they probably won’t even win a playoff game this year because of it. Run or pass I think my nonna can get 200 all purpose yards against that defence.
Josh Allen has been exceptional this year and in his 3 losses the Bills got victimized on the ground by ARI, KC, and TEN.
Those are the 3 favourites for MVP and they all lost to QB’s worse then they are this season (apart from Mahomes beating Buffalo) all because teams were able to stay balanced and play great defence.
