long story short, someone called 911 saying there were 5 armed men taking hostages at Ubisoft and asking for 2 million dollars, then a few hours later after securing a whole sector with a swat team they realized there was actually no threat at all. lol.

I might read this blog later on.

How hard is it to see if people are missing among employees? If people do not enter a building to do such a thing would you not see that pretty quickly?

Most of the time, people are told what they should know. They don't know poop. They are just told what they should know. And act upon it.

And when fear comes in, all bets are off.

I think what actually happened was some police agent called in the offices asking if they knew what was going on, and since they have multiple floors in the Ubisoft building they didn't want to take any chances so they asked everyone inside to gather at the terrace on the rooftop..? which is still pretty (frank)ing dumb when you think about it hahaa
