There are so many unknowns over NHL and having a season that trying to project scenarios on players, trades etc is becoming mind numbing. That's great they released holiday jerseys for sales. But without a season confirmation and known parameters they're going to lose much more.

I have to drive by 2 schools to get to town. I just cringe when schools out. Large groups of kids crowded together being herded onto the busses and no masks. I know the principle of one of the schools. He's a fishing buddy. He says some kids wear masks in school and take them off when they leave the building but as of a month ago or so ago, masks were not mandatory at his school.
I've only been to in 2 stores here that wont let you in without a mask. Walmart and Extra foods. Almost everyone wears the mask anyways.... which is why the school kids stand out so much. Weird seeing hundreds of people with no masks on standing around talking to each other.

I certainly wouldn't want to be a parent right now, it'd be an impossible task to keep your kid from being a contamination risk.

No they aren't. They are harassing people who want to stay in their vehicles on the lower decks. Covid spreads faster inside your own vehicle when on a lower ferry deck because Science
And before you say "It isn't BCFerries, it's Transport Canada" Sure, but BCFerries can also choose to look the other way (like they've done for the past 4 years this has been the "law" and nobody would care)
They are the ones making it an issue and involving RCMP for enforcement
Walk around with an open drink or a granola bar and you don't have to wear your mask. Boom - TheGame316
Buddy of mine is in a wheelchair. He drives himself back and forth from Victoria to Vancouver all the time. It would be so convenient for him just to stay in his car but they won’t let him because of transportation laws.
Has nothing to do with COVID. It’s just the law and a slight inconvenience. It’s amazing how some view slight inconveniences as an attack on their rights and freedoms. Maybe these people are using that as a facade to hide their selfishness?

Strange times, just try not to buy into the fear....
Not a conspiracy but did you know there are zero flu's this flu season in Alberta? Lots of covid, no "flu", I don't buy it, not the virus (I get that) but the amount of disinformation and fear being pumped into the population right now is disturbing.
Don't be afraid, live your life, wash your hands, it's not difficult.

Not positive, but didn't that law come into effect t after the sinking of the Queen of the North? From what I recall, it was a big part of the safety recommendations, as was having cabins below the water surface.
Everyone knows what it's like. People with children, always sick with cold and flu. People without children... rarely sick.
I havent had cold or flu in 6 years. I stopped getting sick when I quit playing poker at the casinos. - boonerbuck
Might be time to listen to those gym rats and build an immune system to protect yourself.
8 years i've been around the oldest. I got the flu once. It lasted about 3 hours of getting sick, then I had a nap and was good to go(might have been from the 20ish beers from the day before). I literally can't remember the last time I had a head cold.

I was socially distant long before the epidemic. It affected me in less ways than others as far as socializing goes.
Something I did notice is old GF and woman who I hung around with when we were teens are getting in touch with me and want to flirt or have gone all out to try and get some hot fantasy talk going before bed. All from Toronto. No dating. No bar hopping. Horny as hell. I'm a porn stud on messenger now.

I looked it up and the only changes I could find is this:
“New safety measures include simulator training for crew, the addition of senior officers on night watch, new rules for crew behaviour on the bridge, new heavy weather policies, the use of two navigators at all times on northern routes, and a 24/7 incident centre.”
