I agree.
They should implement the non-essential travel to the island, like they have talked about recently, as well.
I personally think the Doctors across the country have suggested a "circuit-breaker" for 28 days,
JUST DO IT.

Horgan says an Island travel ban is a possibility. No mainlanders to the island spreading the virus and no youngsters going to Vancouver catching it and bringing it back.

I hope they do it.

I've only been to Roger's arena once. Maybe they should have a different place for players like Gino with a picture and stats and such and that's where they could put the more likeable stand out players but ones that won't make the ring of honour.
- manvanfan

They could just set up a little shrine somewhere on the concourse. Include a screen showing the clip of him with his jersey and gear off chasing Anderson around the rink and maybe also one of him scoring a goal off a pass from Bure. That should pretty much cover it.

I had an hour long conversation with my oldest daughter, who has a two year old, about Christmas. She was wanting family to go to PG so my grand daughter could experience Christmas but she was thinking with her heart not her head.

Although she’s been very cautious and good about isolation and cleanliness, I told her she’s just going to have to continue that and it’s only one year, hopefully next year is different. She agreed.

Just watching the provincial/territorial top Doctor's and the Ministers of Health yesterday, you can see that they are all very concerned about Xmas.
I thought the Manitoba Doctor was going to start yelling at the people of Manitoba. They are very concerned, as they should b.

Looks like Interior Health is considering restrictions now with the spike in cases. Man people are stupid.

I like what Ontario premier, Doug Ford said yesterday, there will be other Christmases.

We have been reactive and not proactive since this whole thing began. It won't change until their hands are forced into tightening restrictions unfortunately

#92 Vasily Podkolzin is back in SKA's line-up this morning as their 13TH forward. No words for this. From the first line to healthy scratch to 13th forward. #FreePodz #FireBragin

Too much is being made of this. Many of the guys from his draft year are not playing at all. In the long run this may be better for him than if he were playing first line for every KHL game. He has less chance of getting injured but still gets to practice, work on his skills, skating and strength, plus he has more time for his body to recover and grow.

SKA and Traktor scoreless after one period.

Vasily Podkolzin TOI 1:26 (2 shifts)

-------------------

I think for most people it's the same as last year where he was tossed around leagues and this year he's tossed between the press box to 4th line to 1st line again and again.

Some consistency would be nice. A regular 4th line shift for 12 minutes a game.

When his KHL season is finally over he will come to the Canucks healthy and hungry. He'll also be on his ELC for three years. Things will work out just fine.

I posted a tweet this past Saturday based on a conversation I had with a nurse.

The intent of this post was to focus on the danger of COVID-19 within the health care system.

1/4

Very little detail was provided – no mention was made of the facility, the date or time of treatment, the gender of the patient, or other identifying details. The focus was meant to be on the fragility of the health care system.

2/4

Unfortunately, the focus has shifted from the cautionary tale, to one of seeking to determine the personal details of the patient.

I am told that as a result, my tweet has caused significant pain for individuals in mourning.

This strays far from my original intention.

3/4

As a result, I am deleting the social media post, and urging everyone to listen to the health care professionals.

They are all warning of the vulnerability of our health care system unless we take steps to reduce case counts.

Please stay safe and take care of one another.

4/4

------------
His original tweet that he has since deleted was he had a conversation with a nurse that day about a 29 year old person came in for a medical emergency not covid related and ended up dying because all of the beds were full of covid patients. That person had a 3 year old kid.

This article places Elias as the 16th best centre in the league(6th in Western conference).

I'm in shambles... here I was placing EP at number 5 in the west... choose, it's actually neat to see that they laid it out in the exact order that some on here placed them, outside of the one Kopitar top 5 vote.

I still place both Pettersson and o'rielly above Scheifele but it's almost a toss up for me.

Good work, man. I think that's all most people need to do, stop and think about it or better yet, talk about it. Again, look back at Remembrance Day, our sacrifices are a drop in the bucket compared to the sacrifices of past generations. People need to stop being so selfish and be more civic minded.

I just had a really good session at the woodpile while enjoying my morning coffee.

Alas cruel world devoured

SGI to Vancouver run, Salish class, tiny steep stairways from the deck, breathing mouth breathers stale air. No thanks, honestly instead of an extra half hour coffee between stops for the crew, walk the decks like they did at the beginning of covid, embrace the fear and stop the pandemic.

Edit, that was a haiku, you uncultured swine!

Don’t know I’ve ever been on one of those. Or at least not in a hundred bazillion years. Fair enough, your grievance has been aired.

O'Reilly is a weird one because he isn't the most talented C, but you put him in a matchup role and he can outplay any other C in a playoff series, guy is a monster.

Can't he sign a 2 year deal like Tryamkin did?
