The NHL "Reverse Retro" idea for alternate sweaters debuting this year were meant to capture the money of idiot fans who feel they need to buy multiple jerseys. - Michael Pachla

I was just reading about it. The owner was a "local franchisee" of Pepsi, whatever that means - jcragcrumple
I believe that local bottling companies for Pepsi and Coke are technically franchises, or at least they used to be. In other words, they're independent businesses that pay to use the Pepsi intellectual property.

Pachman is a solid dude, I assure you there was no malice intended. If you want to experience malice, post more opinions here. This place is a seething cauldron of hostility. Welcome!
There are a few guys in my beer league that still rock the cooperalls. - Chris16
Somewhere in my parents' garage, I still have the girdle. Never had the long pants - just the short shell. But damn, they were great pants.

Most of the jerseys are just meh for me. Decent enough not total trainwrecks. Im not sure how narrow of a scope 'reverse retro' was supposed to be but alot of these dont seem to fall under that category. Some teams dont have much to work with and some dont have anything to work with so it is what it is
Panthers and coyotes killed it
Capitals, devils and the kings are very nice
Avalanche and hurricanes are the popular pick, sweet jerseys no doubt but just a bit weird. The wild and canadiens(although i like this one) just feel weird altogether
The jets jersey is terrible, like seriously? It looks like something youd wear raking leaves
As for the sabres i dont really care for it. Its redundant to make a 3rd jersey the same colors as your permanent jerseys when they finally just brought the color scheme back after 25 years. However you define reverse is up to you but it should have been done in in red and black somehow

Philadelphia Flyers: Solid, but will be looking for them to be skating around in those stupid sweat pants from the Lindros era
The Flyers wore the Cooperalls in the 80's and Lindros was drafted in the 90's. At least do some research before posting whatever opinion comes across what you call a brain. - flyersfanman71
No problem and I apologize for the smart ass remark, I don't know why I usually assume that when someone comments on the Flyers from another team post it's with malice. Us Philadelphians are fiercely loyal and proud even if they looked absolutely ridiculous in those pants!!!! - flyersfanman71

I remember going to this little street festival they put on around here several years ago. Heard a reggae band playing on the stage at the end of the street and gravitated that way. They were so good (they were, umm, jammin’), we watched them until they were finished. Come to find out that many/most of them were in the Wailers playing with Bob Marley.
Although hearing the phrase I’n’I always makes me think of the Jamaican Bobsled song https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FUavLy8SNX4
“Oh, it looks like they’re a little high going into turn 1...”
i was informed today that the Sabres will not be moving forward with my application for their Manager of Fan Development job, something I'd applied for about a month ago

Interesting part of that job is whoever is hired gets to do the pick at next years draft
And I don’t mean announce it. I mean actually pick the player because, they don’t have any idea what they’re doing unless the Bills tell them
