I just can't see them changing the rules like that. I'm shocked the players are still being offered their full salaries but it makes sense why the owners want the escrow percentage increased. And this entire deferred salary thing what a mess

With a league dependent on the gate, it is going to come down to what needs to be done to survive. The owners do need to be transparent about the books though.

I don't know, i believe they will work something out, to much money to leave on the table. I have to imagine the players understand they are not playing a full season minus fans equals less money for everyone.

Maybe. Like the link you posted refers, the issue will likely come down to what was previously negotiated in the original RTP CBA. I know that the situation is obviously still fluid, but to try and renegotiate after there were already concessions made is never an easy situation. The players will have to be realistic and the owners/league will have to be forthcoming.

About 3 minutes in you see why getting to select Kirby Dach was a good luck for the ‘hawks..

Play only televised games, every game is a playoff game, team with most points wins SC. For once "regular season" counts. Eazy peazy.

I can relate about getting older, 53, i was invited to play 18 the other day, fortunately been busy with work but its slowed down again, haven't played in 2-3 months, walked it on Monday very pleasant upper 40's day, sore as hell on Tuesday even today. Better than the alternative but the thing is i don't feel old until i do something like that

Good on ya. I'm guessing it's the California rubbing off on me, but I can't say enough about doing 5-10 minutes of basic yoga in the morning. With all the sitting being done for work these days, it's critical.

Sorry for getting all "self-help" on a hockey blog, but there isn't much going on outside of the WJ clip that Wiz posted (which I had already seen in it's entirety).

About the 17:30 mark of the first (just to clarify). In the NHL Dach probably ends up on his butt though from a few wicked cross checks. He sat there untouched.
