Stop. There is no such thing as alien visitation. It’s impossible. The physics of time dictates it.

Not sure if that league can survive without affiliation dollars though
- Reubenkincade

All three leagues could use some thinning out imo.

I think it is great that the kids nowadays are taking the path of education, while still developing, i would like to see the Canadian Universities doing something similar, except allowing kids who have played major junior eligible
- Reubenkincade

What do you mean?

They sort of do that now, but the CHL only provides some funding after the player has finished junior eligibility. They need to let them kids start making the decision to enter that route at 18, if they choose to.

Example would beCarl Neill et al.

Why would the CHL pay someone else to take away from their own product??

Many physicists and mathematicians, including Stephan Hawking, think it’s quite likely that it exists. The probability that there are more advanced or that at least one is, is also quite up there regardless of the tin hats.
- neem55

Before he passed Hawking also said that contact with an off-world species was likely to happen within the next 75-125 years before the human race becomes too far advanced. And the contact would most likely not be a friendly one. He also said that the merging of AI with the human genome was one of the things that needs to happen to battle an off-world species. AI development is scary stuff and it's advancing at an alarmingly rapid rate. What we know scientifically at this point to think we are all alone in a Universe so vast and ever expanding is backwards thinking.

I worded that oddly, I meant to say the Canadian college/universities, need to be going the scholarship route, with these kids.

That makes more sense for sure. I'm not quite sure why they don't.

I can see why that Finnish defensemen got his contract terminated with the team that Joni Jurmo plays on. They suck.

4 wins out of 18 games so far this season. Down 2-0 after 1 period in today's game.

Why? Considering that humans live in a cauldron of evolution and yet we are the only species that gained the ability to contemplate its own existence says volumes about how difficult the development of intelligent life is.

I agree there are billions and billions of planets in our universe. But the condition that created Earth (known as the circumstellar habitable zone) is extremely rare. Add that to the chance of life, and then the evolution of intelligence... I would argue being alone is just as likely as other intelligent life in the universe.

Ironic how he uses science to back up his argument but discounts it when it comes to COVID.

Nov 26: The camp has been shut down for two weeks after it was determined that all players, coaches, and staff were considered close contacts to the positive tests. Under Alberta health guidelines, they must now undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine period.

I’m bored and don’t want to give billionaires arguing with millionaires a second of my time, so let’s debate topics of contention for poops and giggles.

Next; the meaning of life.

+ 1 for Costmar.

Still looking for his first point this year.

Time on the PK. Played first shift. Good anticipation, heads up play to clear the zone.

Sure, that’s theoretics. Doesn’t make it reality though.

Physics is physics, regardless of it’s on Earth or Alderaan.

- bloatedmosquito

Again, quantum physics supersedes and contradicts the theory of relatively and space time being linear. It opens the door to the more then likely existence of multiple planes of existence, an infinite number of planes of existence in fact.

The rules of quantum physics actually place the possibility of there not being multiple alien species as being nearly infinitesimaly low.

As far as visitations go, not likely happening right now and if they were happening it wouldn't be a positive for the human species.
