Heart is a vague term in sports and people can use it different ways. Compare the way Gallagher plays to the way Drouin plays, put talent aside and whether we use different words than heart I'm confident we'll all agree there's a clear and tangible difference in the way the play

I guess my point was that maybe in rare cases the player actually doesn't give a damn, but that generally speaking guys do have the will to improve and be successful. but yeah I agree 100%, and I understand what people mean by the "lack of heart"

Heart has 25 points in 49 games.

And if you remove those young seasons from the math Drouin has never been a + player. Scoring is great but doesn't mean much if your poopty play leads to more pucks in your own net

Consistency is the greatest skill in sports. It's what separates the very good to the great. Kovalev could break knees and destroy teams one game out of ten and everybody would remember that one moment and forget the rest. Ovechkin will always be remembered for that amazing on the back goal, but never the 500+ he's scored from that one unexciting place on the PP or at 5vs5 just outside the dot on the left side. I bet he and the team would take all of those consistent goals over the insane flying around on your back goal.

good point. it's very hard to find players that will show up and play the same way night in night out over the course of their career.

Nice Not as good as Snatch, but really good. A nice return to form.

Him and Hugh Grant stole the show. First performance from Charlie Hunnam I've ever liked to.

She's gorgeous, but not even close to the same energy as Pam And.
