This is the year Petey has to start playing at the end of close games and on the PK if necessary. If he's going to be a 1C his ice time needs another small bump and he needs to take on more responsibility. That to me is the solution rather than trying to find other players to fill a defensive role.

I feel like when they say they can teach defence and not offence, I think that they mean they can teach "structure" not actual defence. If they could teach defence than I think a lot more players wouldn't suck so much at playing defence.
