The Flyers (or any team) will want a bargain given the situation.
Nylander will likely be the best player in any trade scenario with any team,
and the Leafs may want too much in return now. And keeping him isn't a bad thing.

But the bill will come due, and something will have to give.
The Leafs look top heavy and thin on D. Just saying.

So, he would be a good fit as a PP specialist on the team that gets just about the fewest pp's in the league?

He was a healthy scratch and has been going downhill for a couple years. He has negative value.

I think he's a player that ca re-find his game. Playing with the offensive talent the Leafs have could help with that. It's not a given but certainty a possibility. Regardless, the Leafs aren't giving up Nylander for him.
