The simple fact that the current gm and coach has made the same or similar statements about frost and multiple gm s and coaches have made same statements throughout the years regarding development of players. Especially those who are seen as top line players that have aspects of their game to work on.

Please show me these comments they both made about frost not being be able to play on the 4th line Peter Dikk. If Frost is one of your top 12 then you play him. Its up to the coach to figure out where. Yeah lets just put 3 others on the 4th line to fill it out as they fit the "mold" of a 4th line player. Where does it say you cant have a skilled 4th line?

Myers doesn't have much ground to stand on, so hoping its just waiting and seeing what other moves they have before the go bridge or longer, I cant imagine they don't have a plan or two in line but I still think before the season starts (if..?) they have another move or two to sure up the D and possible Center situation if Patrick is not a sure thing. Myers hopefully is just sitting contingent on that Still would rather take the risk and lock him up longer than shorter

You can look it up yourself. Players on the 4 th line are skilled. No they are not 1st line players but usually more defensive minded. Playing away from the puck is a big part of it. Having players besides your top players to eat minutes is important.

Hopefully they can acquire another thompson or grant to “eat” up those minutes.
