I remember Phaneuf getting all the hype. From Pierre especially. But I kept noticing Weber more. I usually don't know anything about prospects until I watch the WJC. You could just tell Weber was better.

It was between a CRV and the Forester for us. We were looking used, the 2016 CRVs at the time were a bit above our budget, the 2015s we test drove felt really mushy when accelerating, didn't like it much.

Ended up with a Forester Touring and love it but we would have been also very happy with the right CRV

I know. The SUVs are pretty much the same. I see women driving SUV versions of the same monsters on their way to Pilates and back. I think for them it’s a feeling of safety from the scary world of Ontario suburbs.

When our kid was playing hockey and we driving him and buddies around (he’s a goalie so lots of stuff) my wife insisted on a big ass Expedition (for the kids).

I really like the Rav 4 Hybrid. Great safety features, drives nicely, smooth switch from gas to electric and there’s just a nice logic to using all the entertainment, navigation, etc. My wife has a Mercedes and you have to be an engineer to do anything.

My plan was to buy a new Sienna hybrid when they come out, soon I think. But after doing some research I discovered that the second row seats can’t be removed because they have built in airbags. I would have loved to have had the hybrid.
Ended up buying the 2020 model.
