Heard rumour that owners want to declare force majeure and call off season. CBA prohibits lockout and that’s their only way out. Not sure they can make a case though since you can’t really argue unforeseen circumstances from four months ago. I think players they’ll owners to go (frank) themselves on salary rollback.

To be honest, I felt that none of the team, including Matthews, played near their potential in the Columbus series, although he was easily the best Leaf.

My biggest problem with Matthews is that I don't think he will be a Leaf past this contract, unless they pay him max money, which will leave the team short everywhere else.
