Yep. Leaf fans would have made Chiarelli moves galore by now just because they didn't instantly win. Meanwhile, Boston has been an elite contender for a decade. Won once during that time. Tampa and Boston missed the playoffs during their current dominant eras. Tampa got swept - by Columbus, fittingly enough. People talked about trading Ovi for years before he won. St. Loius was good for years before they won.

That's sports though, fans'll cry nonstop until they win. Dubas' glasses and Willy's hair trigger Leaf fans.

Way I look at it, some fans think they have no chance, but Joe Thornton disagrees.

Yeah I mean their core is 23 and JT, Brodie and Muzzin are 30...and they have a 41 year old HoF who wants to win. Freddy is in a contract year.

The boys are becoming men and the older guys know their time is now.

When they were Teens and 20 years old it didn't come easy for them...they had to face the 1st place team in the league, 3rd place team, and the 4th place team in the entire league for their 1st 3 shots. They were set up for failure and did not take the underdog story. They (frank)ed up against CBJ, for me that was the first failure I saw the first 3 matchups were learning experiences against teams that were way better than them.

I love the movie and wouldn't say its hilarious, but its just more of a comfort watching thing, since I saw it every year since it was released and I was a kid. Also having seen the 2 previous movies with the Griswalds helped for me.

I wouldnt expect an adult watching it for the first time today to love it. My wife and I have exchanged watching movies we loved as kids (and still do today), but we both come away saying Meh.

I can watch the crocodile Dundee movies hundreds of times more...and she just roles her eyes that I'm watching it again
