I much rather the NHL do a partial lockout season like in 2012-2013. Hopefully by Fall 2021 the vaccine calms covid concerns and we can return to a normal season.

As long as the virus is as widespread as it is, players are going to get infected or exposed to people who are infected. A season that requires full travel is pretty well impossible starting January 1. That’s why they’re looking at pushing it back to late February or March and that’s why owners are trying to dig more money out of the players.

The NBA Bubble was safe until players decided to violate it. Baseball traveled with just a few flare ups in the beginning. And I'm sorry but many of the latest cases in the second wave could be avoided by being smart. We have discharged 1900 people successfully who had COVID. The second wave in NYC hasn't been nearly as bad as in March only a fraction of our staff have been redeployed as compared to 90 to 95 percent in March.

Bubbles are safe. Travel, playing 14 games or so a night with widespread Covid is not. Why do you think they went to a bubble in the first place? Virus is worse now.

It is not worse now it is weakened significantly. The cases have risen but the severity of the cases has reduced greatly.
