All I remeber from that Winter's Classic was the Habs victory, the Bruins winning the Old Timer's game and the severe injury to Boston's Pride, Denna Laing. In a game between the Boston Pride and the Montreal Canadiennes played the day before the NHL Winter Classic, Denna Laing sustained a severe spinal cord injury when she struck the boards at Gillette Stadium. That game was the first-ever Women’s Winter Classic. Laigne remained in Mass General for 133 days. She had limited movement of her arms and no feeling in her legs, she is currently in a wheelchair....

kinda reminds me of the last time they showed Jacques Demers at the Bell, when he was in a wheelchair next to Serge Savard... that was also sad to see. you'd rather think of more joyous moments such as him raising the cup in 93

It’s been a tough year and at times like that we should try to remind ourselves of the fact that it’s not all doom and gloom, so starting today, I’ll give you my advent calendar of favourite Habs memories.

My most favourite Habs moment was attending my first game, at the old forum, on March 10, 1977.

Habs beat the Rockies 7-1, Shutt has 2 goals... I just wanted to see Lafleur get a goal so bad, but all he did was get 4 assists (if I recall).

As an 8 year old it was a surreal experience - the crowd, the excitement, the noise, how much faster the game looked live, and everything else (including the crazy subway ride before and after the game).
