is it a maximum of 1 page? because I always busted in those, especially for broad political/social subject matter
- Pat1993

maximum 1 page with 3 guiding questions to answer. Any easier and I'd be writing it for them.

For us, sure. Usually these assignments are made so that even the weakest can complete it.

It's just to have things to mark them on and see if they're getting it. The idea is to have them ready for the ministry exam, which has no long form essay. Giving them 5 pages would be punishing myself.

I'd be curious to see the new curriculum since the great "reform".

My most favourite Habs moment was attending my first game, at the old forum, on March 10, 1977.

Habs beat the Rockies 7-1, Shutt has 2 goals... I just wanted to see Lafleur get a goal so bad, but all he did was get 4 assists (if I recall).

As an 8 year old it was a surreal experience - the crowd, the excitement, the noise, how much faster the game looked live, and everything else (including the crazy subway ride before and after the game).

nice.
that green line, the walk in the Alexis Nihon shopping mall, crossing Ste-Cath already feeling the energy of the crowd...
I also used to go with my dad, we would usually sit in the reds, just above the Laurentide sign in one of the corners.
fast game indeed, no tv guy to tell you who is on the ice, who plays with who... and no security nets in those days. you'd better keep your eyes on the puck, especially during the warmup.
I remember Lafleur scoring 3 one night. crazy standing ovation while he was sitting not on the bench but on the ramp, where the door opens, 6'' from the ice, dead tired but happy.
little fido was pretty happy too.

I think a few serious injuries had to happen before they finally did something about that...

almost every game someone would get hit by a puck. most of the time nothing serious, but sometimes they would be taken out just to play it safe.
but yeah, warmup were pretty crazy with 20-30 pucks flying all around.
