You really own 335 games on Steam? You seem like the kind of guy who buys a lot but doesn't play that much...Or starts a game and doesn't finish it.

Doom isn't really horror, your character is ultra OP. It's gory-funny IMO.
- BashCH

not sure what this means.

and yeah I get what you're saying, it's not a "survival" game but I'd still define it as a "horror" game... I remember being so excited to kick some demon ass in the depths of hell in the very first version that came out

no you move with the controller but you do flail your arms like crazy.

My girlfriend's boy did run into the wall the first time he tried it

It means I never feel "not in control" since my guy is kicking so much ass. Horror stuff you really gotta feel vulnerable and scared IMO.

Battleground 2 also got ripped on the microtransactions, that's why I never played it. I may be old fashionned but why I buy a game 90$ I don't want to spent 20$ to unlock characters in it to be competitive.
- Fredo

Battleground 2 had microtransactions, yes.

But the system was WAY better than the first game where you had to play 1000 hours to unlock one new character.

Or pay 10$!

My steam collection pales compared to my collection of physical games.

And I finish every game I play (except the hardass ones on the NES where you need alot of time and practice to master, plenty of them remain unfinished).

Now as far as my ridiculous backlog of unplayed games is concerned, I can confirm to you that I won't be able to play them all before I die.

I played the first one alot with my brother alot I unlocked everything pretty fast. At alot of the feats were fun. Like kill 50 guys with a grenade to get the stronger one. I'd rather unlock achievements with gameplay and feats than my wallet.

Nope. I finished the other two on the NES but never really took the time to learn how to beat the first one.

But yeah, frustrating memories as a kid about this one for sure.

oh, even as an adult it's frustrating as (frank). I dunno if you're familiar with Mike Matei but I had to stop before having the same kind of tantrums he has when he's live streaming

Yeah I know of Mike Matei.

He's not my type of gamer. Too much whining when he plays.

I mean yes, some of these games are completely unfair and you can totally female dog about these moments, but he whines even when he's totally to blame.

pay-to-win really (frank)ing sucks. you buy a game, and then you still have to buy a bunch of other items and locked areas?? wtf.

I got that game when I was 4. Racked up a LOT of hours on it. Always thought it was better than the Turtles games that came after it, even on more advanced systems. That said I feel that way about a lot of games so it could partially be nostalgia
