Monten on Persson : He is one of the defenseman in the mix for the 6-7 spot. Plays both ends of the rink, moves the puck, he is a good 2 way dee. I like his pk play as well
Monten on Costmar : Strong centre who moves the puck and works hard. Last 7-8 games he has been really good, good on the pk
Monten on why he called Petterson : I called Elias to talk to him about the bubble in Edmonton when he played in the playoffs. I talked to NHL players and coach to get a feel about the environment in the bubble. |

19 and 20 year olds are not allowed to skate with their teams in the BCHL after new public health orders.
Nanimao coach Darren Naylor is not happy : It is ridiculous, they live together, drive together to the rink but can not be on the ice together. It makes no sense.

Yeah BC is doing everything right. |

Development: Sources say #NHL shared draft schedules with #NHLPA on Thursday, one including a 56-game regular season for 2021.
Drafts were based on Jan. 1 start date, but sides discussed pushing that back (Jan. 15 or 16?).
Told talks were unrelated to recent economic requests. |

everything is linked. number of games determines how much the players will get paid.
tbh, i don't think anyone (players or league) cares about the number of games vs trying to get back to 100% economically.
players will talk about fatigue/injuries etc but if the economic terms are correct, i'm sure they'll say the juice is worth the squeeze. |

Your outlook says it all I guess haha. I run my own business and never plan to be reliant on anyone else but myself. Whether you like or not, business owners take the risk and need some reward or the risk isn’t worth it.
If the players/employees don’t like where they work, they are free to work elsewhere or go into business for themselves. Good employers will keep employees and good employees will understand/accept the realities COVID has put on businesses.
The worst are the people who complain about how hard they work and what they deserve........ - CoolerHeads
There it is right there. Business owners take the risk. But in this case, they are asking their contractors to take that risk |

I’m not sure where you heard BC is doing “everything” right. For the most part it is one specific area of the province that is hurting everyone else in this regard.

Oh for sure. Both sides in a"negotiation have to figure out where they may have some common ground, especially when they hit a stumbling block.
Not sure the 2 sides have agreed on the number of games equalling how much the players get paid.
If I am the players, I would be a bit concerned about that route, as I believe it could be a bit 9f a slippery slope.
Not sure why or how this comment became bolded. |

no need to yell.
i think releasing proposed schedules was a reaction to the players mentioning that they have not refused playing/working around christmas because they have never been told of any proposed schedules.
at the end of the day, this is all just posturing to get the best deal for each side.
this is much ado about nothing because they'll get a deal done. brinkmanship to scare the other side but they'll come to an understanding. too much money to be lost (more than what's already lost) for both sides. |

Many Albertans invade northern BC & have for many many years as you know. Whether Rio Tinto or the LNG or gas plants or pipelines or other industrial sites. |
