Other than Elliotte Friedman chiming in on the NHL vs NHLPA there’s not a lot of hockey talk on Twitter. With the majority of NHL revenue coming from the gate I’m not seeing how they get this off the ground. Owners save money by not playing.

I know quite a few people that every time there is a lockout they just don't care about hockey anymore.

Watching the Swedish league today.

They have the face-off dots with coke-cola and car companies. Rogle jersey had like 8 small sponsors on their shirts.

It really didn't bother me to watch the game with all that stuff.

NHL needs to make a more sustainable product.

The agreement Allowed the players to recoup their losses down the road by maintaining the salary cap, it didn't change the 50/50 split.

If they play in empty buildings each team gets 20m give out take, TV money.

So the actual salary cap would be 10m.... that's the issue, the players want full payment and the owners want it to be close to actual value which would be robbing future contracts to pay off Eriksson and other vet's now.
