did Mercedes purposely (frank) george Russell out of a victory the other day? - TheHank
Nah, I think they just (frank)ed up. They've made enough of those types of mistakes. And I think he wins without the puncture even with the "colossal (frank)up". I expected him to drive well, I did not expect him to drive that well, even in qualifying I was watching his onboard, and he kept (frank)ing up the first turn, and then turn 3 or 4 he got on the throttle too soon and got out of shape on almost all his runs and he still only finished 26 milliseconds behind Bottas. It was a damn impressive display. If he couldn't win I'm at least glad Perez got it, it's a nice send off for him. He's way too good to be stuck at Williams. |

How is that remotely similar to any of what youre saying?
If anything, that '99 team that came up short is the embodiment of run and stop the run - jcragcrumple
Sure, and the Leafs haven’t won a playoff series with their core of forwards that they have because they can’t defend.
Idc how good Josh Allen is, if the Bills are not able to run the ball when the defence dictates them to run the ball, or if the defence doesn’t hold up there end of the bargain, it won’t matter. |

My play is that good teams win Superbowls. Most of the time a team is better on one side of the ball then the other. Having a good QB always offsets certain things. Even if they are not playing well, there's always that threat from a elite QB. Many ways to win a football game. The better teams seem to find more ways to do it. - Buff36
This is the crux of the argument which he refuses to acknowledge even exists. |

Elite QB play guarantees you a playoff birth 9 times out of 10. I have acknowledged that from the very beginning.

Edmunds looked awesome last night. Where are the he has to go crowd? Just about everyone on here. If we are patting ourselves on the back, mine would hurt. Play of the year.
Let greatness come to Allen don't bestow it 5, 6, 7`11 games after he needed this year to move up from the bottom 5 of the NFL. |

Gil - "We need to see more from Josh Allen, calling him elite after only a few games is crazy"
Also Gil " Tremaine Edmunds has 2 good games out of 12, look how awesome he is, I'm so right!"

Me too.
My brother in law is a Broncos fan. He wishes they had Allen.
Doesn't really talk too much about Melvin Gordon or Justin Simmons though |

You mean like saying “almost everyone wanted Edmunds gone” when legitimately like one person did.
I don’t love Edmunds either but I’ll dare you to find the quote where I wanted him gone. |

Buffalo Bill's 9-3
Losses to superbowl champs
Tennessee titans (with rest)
Hail Murray
I garenfackintee the Bllls aren't going to run the ball all of the sudden.
If it's a weather game, that's different.
Why run, when you have a top elite qb ?

Broncos had Manning for 4 seasons and didn’t win squat until he was useless and we had an historic defence.
I guess I should feel better about 2013 though because the Seahawks got lucky at the poker table winning with a pair of 4’s and if they play that game 10 times over the Broncos win 7 of them.

Bills have their best offense in 25 years with the best QB season they might have ever had.

lol. You went to two Super Bowls after not being in one for 15 years
Weird man
They have a HOF’er in John Elway, they go to Super Bowls
....don’t go to them for 15 years......
Get another HOF QB in Manning and then go to two more SB’s

Threesix was talking about gap vision.
I still think Edmund's shoulder was an issue.
Maybe he's better with aj Klein? Defense has been playing good without milano.
Our defense should make tremaine a star. |

Well , I guess zack moss directly lead to 1 td last night?
Wrong team, but still, flaccoville is kinda right.
The running back and defense were more important than the qb on that play. Especially if it was in the playoffs, when it really matters.
IF , moss scored for the Bill's we would have won handily
IF Singletary doesnt score last night, no way we win .

Uh huh that is a toned down lie version today. I at least am consistent with what I have been saying about Allen. This was a show me year for him and I haven't blown my load as easy as a 12 year old having a wet dream over him as you do.
If he continues to show me, the Bills win a playoff game then I will look at his whole year and compare him to other QB's and see what his ranking is in the NFL. I said I am glad he is the Bills QB. |

He looked excellent last two games
He’s also in this third season as the Bills MLB and our weakness is gap control on run defense
He’s fine. I’m with you. There’s nothin special about him |

What part of losing a Super Bowl 43-8 seems enjoyable to you ?
Broncos couldn’t run the ball or stop the run.
But boy did Manning look good throwing 55 touchdown passes that year.
I think Demaryius Thomas still feels that hit from Kam Chancellor on that first drive.

And elite QBs are elite year in, year out. Elite defenses and running games very rarely are.
Russell Wilson has just one year in his 9 year career that he wasn't in the top ten in yards or TDs.
How many defenses in the last 9 years can say that about yards or points allowed? RBs? poop, most RBs don't even have 9 year careers. There're only three guys still even playing since 2012, the ageless wonder, Frank Gore, Adrian Peterson, and Alfred Morris(he had literally one carry last year). And two of those guys are lead pipe lock Hall of Famers. None are going to win the rushing title this year, it's safe to say, or even finish top 20.
Yes, you absolutely can win with a great defense or running game, but the odds are so heavily stacked against you, like 72o vs AA, that it proves the rule that you need a great QB to win by anything more than a fluke.
QB is the foundation on which great teams are built. Full stop.
Edit: I picked Wilson, because he's played for a while and he's the healthiest guy, never missed a start. |

Knox, Beasley, Davis, and McKenzie are the guys who scored. |
