Understood. His YPC is unimpressive to me. 11 seasons under 4.5.

He has longevity and durability and a poop load of yards. I just dont think at any point in his career he was truly great. He was good or serviceable for a long time. He was/is a durable, dependable grinder

I’ll extend an olive branch here and say that I definitely think you need a competent defense to win in this league. It’s rare that a bottom 5-10 defense wins the super bowl

But there is just no statistical comparison in having an elite running attack vs even just a good passing attack.

Passing leads to more points. A lot more
