No you're right 347 air to 143 ground is definitely beating teams with the run
This is just nuts now. You're making things up - sbroads24
Go watch the game over again.
Ruggs caught two home run balls in single high coverage that account for 118 yards.
If Kansas City didn’t respect the Raiders run game, there is no way they leave their corners out like that in man coverage with no help over the top.
But then again I’m arguing with the guy who just looks at the box score and doesn’t understand the intricacies of the games and chess matches that coordinators play within the game.
They ran the ball 35 times in a game that was close the entire time, they possessed the ball for 35 minutes. 11 minutes more then the Chiefs.
Carr made the throws when he needed to, no doubt about that. Without Jacobs though you get what happened against the Falcons, a 36 point loss |

Dalvin Cooks 166 yards on the ground had nothing to do with Kirk Cousins performance and beating Aaron Rodgers earlier this year either ?
Or is Kirk Cousins all of a sudden elite ?
I didn’t even remember to put his name on the list of QB’s I made on the last page but what do you know he beat an MVP favourite too. |

I watched the entire game.
I couldn’t care less if they possessed the ball for 59:59. They won because they scored more points, and they got those points on deep passes.
You’re just making up narratives in your head. It’s sad now.
Now the Chiefs lost because they respected the run too much
However when the Chiefs beat the Bills by running, I didn’t hear from you how it was really because of the passing game and the Bills respected it too much and let them run instead.

Let’s see you spin this |

Look at the Teams with these running backs
La rams - (8-4) 3 running backs
Seattle (8-4) Carson. And other guys
* Saints (10-2) kamara is excellent
*GBay (9-3) arron jones is excellent
Buffalo (9-3) 2nd year guy and rookie
Miami (8-4) gaskins who?
*titans (8-4) henry is excellent
Indy (8-4) mixed bag of guys
Pittsburgh (10-1) Snell jr. Connor injured
*Cleveland (9-3) chubb is excellent
Kc (11-1) halaire?
Now look at that list and tell me other than miami or Tennessee , which team doesnt have a #1 overall or future hall of Famer? |

No, they ran the ball forcing the Chiefs to load the box, then took their deep shots outside when they got man to man coverage on the outside due to the soft coverage looks.
Kind of like in a boxing match how sooner or later you start taking too many body shots you start to compensate for that by dropping your arm and then all of a sudden you take the upper cut to the beak planting you on your a$$ - Pegullaville
Can you please stop. Very rarely does a 2000 ravens team ever win a super bowl.
Ask the 49ers when they had gore (in his prime) and the best defense the nfl.
Flacco had an elite playoff run when the ravens won that year.

Why is it so hard for you all to admit there’s not just 1 way to win?
Teams win BOTH of the ways you’re talking about
This argument is so dumb |

Jim Kelly has changed.
He's a good guy. Very Buffalo. very engaging. Nice.
my son took his camp, Jim was super involved, came up and chatted with us Dad's. Great experience.
Funny part, there's about 40 games going on simultaneously and Jim jumps in and plays qb for a few plays.
He tells all the kids in our group, "keep it short" something about his arm.
My kid, obviously not paying attention, goes deep.
Big throw, Bigger catch...... 50 yard bomb
Video proof 🙂 - Boss34
Nice!
You should get a still shot from the video framed for him...get Jimbo to sign it for him. |

That’s exactly what happened.
Do you honestly think Andy Reid went into that game thinking he was going to run 48 times ?
The Bills defence had soft fronts the whole night and the Chiefs took advantage.
I’m not going to argue that one bit.

Ah. So when that game happened, you were crediting Mahomes and the pass game for them gashing us and eating clock.
Ok, I’ll take your word for it then. |

How could you honestly say time of possession doesn’t matter ? Give Mahomes 5 more minutes in that game and be scores again.
Time of possession is absolutely critical.

Every single QB that has won a Super Bowl either got hot at the right time and made a miracle run or was elite.
Foles / Flacco had a miracle run for a couple years and won
Every other QB that has won. Has been elite at some point in their careers or currently still elite |

Yea, and you were out here on Sunday pumping Mayfield’s tires when we all know you game plan for Chubb/Hunt.
So what’s the difference ?

I didn’t say it didn’t matter. I’m saying I don’t care how long the Raiders had the ball. The way they scored their points was through big shots down the field.
That’s how they won.
Either way, we’re getting to splitting hairs territory here.

Because if Mayfield can’t execute because he isn’t good enough it doesn’t matter how good Chubb is, they don’t score 41 points.
Running the ball and game managing is good for 17-24 points and if you do have a great defense you can for sure win that way |

Why am I supposed to care about career body of work when the Super Bowl being played this year is based on the 2020 year ?
The New Orleans Saints have the average QB play, strong running game, and elite defence so I’m taking them. |

EXACTLY.
Baker’s an average QB with a strong running game.
The Browns will run the table if their defence can get hot.
Baker needs to take care of the football and make the plays he needs too. He doesn’t need to be Joe Montana he just needs to be efficient and not shoot his team in the foot.
Just like Big Ben in 2005, like Russell Wilson in 2013, like Peyton in 2015, and like Joe Flacco.
Even those all of those aforementioned QB’s are going into the HOF at one point (apart from Flacco) there were not elite in those respective seasons they won the Super Bowl

Ok, I’ve never once stated you can’t possibly win that way. I’ve argued that’s not THE formula, and the most common denominator of all championship teams (77%) is a HOF caliber QB
Like I said earlier, there’s 5-7 elit QB’s in the league most years. Of course the ones who have everything else going their way will be better than those who don’t |

🙂 that's a great idea.
Jim sent out a letter pre-camp that he would sign one item for each camper. I gave my son a vintage Kelly poster (probably purchased at spencers in the late 80's) still wrapped , for an autograph.
People really can change, Jimbo is a prime example.
He was really sick, but stayed involved with the kids for a good portion of the camp. He doesn't just slap his name on the camp.
Had a great experience at the Todd marchant camp for many years. Great guy and family. Super involved
