Giuliani tests positive. - bloatedmosquito
Inevitable.
just for conversations sake...
100%. I think there’s a Burke/twins story about Stefan going first. I believe Burkie knew he was going first, would be a bust, and worked that to his advantage getting picks 2 and 3.

I don't think so.
Just heard a podcast with Burkie talking about how he was pretty high on Stefan and actually tried to get the top 3 picks in the draft.
Stefan apparently had some concussion issues that derailed his career.
Loui, Mike D, rights to Trashcan, and a 3rd to Detroit for a second.
Detroit gets a mentor for their young swedes, future HOF goalie (it could happen, you don't know) and a big dman that might play better if he doesn't smell weed.
We get some cap.

Meh.
Until you guys can put a cork in the selfish Mark Donnelly's of the country, next season is gonna be a write off anyways.
meanwhile in NZ, we gotta deal with these kind of headlines:
Cops nab nine-year-old driving drunk dad to bottle store - dbot
I read this morning there’s 47 total cases in Australia with a population of 25 million due to imposing proper restrictions which the public generally followed.
How did this guy ever score 30? I can see how Benning thought this might work. But 6M for three years most people could stomach. But six years?? There's still two years remaining. Yikes. The Eriksson, Sutter, Beagle, Roussel deals are killing this team. Understandably Aquilini is sick of it and it's changing the way Benning can operate. Free agency has hurt many teams but none more than Vancouver.

Cant believe they don’t have laws about buying booze when you’re already drunk. - 1970vintage
NZ has very relaxed liquor laws, especially compared to BC.
pubs and bars stay open late.
kids allowed in pubs (more family friendly environments).
booze is cheap, readily available and socially acceptable.
They kinda treat booze like you guys treat cannabis.

Good thing we always have Buffalo to point and laugh at.
i love that you have a list.
i was just picking names.
How about Stan Makita, Marcel Dionne, Larry Robinson, Chris Pronger, Neidermayer, Denis Savard or Austin Mathews? - dbot
Once you get past #30 you’re kinda splitting hairs. It’s like the next four defensemen after Bobby Orr, it’s really a toss-up who and how you rank them. My top five all-time are..
