So it costs more real $ and you are no better off (performance wise). What’s the point? So we don’t have to see his stupid face anymore?

LE is probably better then any min wage replacement player... that being said, I would almost, not quite but almost, take the downgrade to get rid of him at this point.....

Yeah but we’re talking about just getting under the cap. There isn’t another player getting called up to replace him, or you waste the cap savings of sending him down.

Bottom line, if Ferley is LTIR no problem, otherwise, they need to trade someone making $3+m

Edit - if I were Gillis err Benning, I’d add a sweetener to Bearcheese. He’s a guy that can still play, and only has one year remaining. I think his actual salary is also lower than his cap hit. Though, if there isn’t a season it’s all moot anyway.

Hogs and ZacMac roster spots for less cap. Already have Motte, Beagle and Sutter for D part. So no role for LE.

They don't have to have a 23 man roster on paper. Can run taxi squad as they have suggested and leave the rest in Siberia aka Utica for the season.
