I seen your dumb posts about Laperierre and his 42 points over 3 years for ring of honor and figured it was time that other posters didn't have to see such stupid posts
Speaking of Seattle, The Athletic has been releasing their fifth mock draft today, examining each team specifically and what they might give up to the expansion franchise.
Uffe Bodin - "Hoglander is not ready for the NHL yet. He is turning into a really nice player. He is only 19. He is a smallish player and needs time to adapt, but he is making progress... The best thing for him is to play another year in Sweden."
Uffe Bodin on Hoglander - "His skill set is very good. He is obviously one of the most entertaining players in the SHL right now, you never know what to expect... He can blow your mind... It's about finding consistency and balance."
Uffe Bodin - "With young players in the SHL you want to see them in a leading role before they head over - manvanfan[to the NHL]. It's really hard to make the transition."

I’m just listening to the Vancast (Jeff Patterson and Thomas Drance), they think Seattle will take Macewan, as Myers will be too risky given the dollars remaining on his contract. They went on to say that the Canucks are clearly the expansion winners, given what all other teams had to surrender in comparison. - 1970vintage
Why not? We're clearly a skill and speed team. There's no need for grit, fighting, holding others accountable. That's what ref's are for.

I hope you noticed how civil is been in here without ________ , hopefully that trend continues with your return.

In a flat cap world few teams can afford such a luxury.

How would I notice how civil it has been when I didn't look in for two months? Never mind it will only confuse you.
I have only been reading what has been posted in here for about a week now and most of it is pretty lame.
I have no intention of hanging out and debating what goes on in here life is too short. I will be reading some of the guys but won't be responding to anything unless some a$shole mentions my name like what you are doing now. .
So Canucks play teams in their division 9 times and 2 of those teams, 10 times, while the Southern teams play division opponents 8 times. - Reubenkincade
Yeah, no idea. The current provincial health order runs until midnight in January 8th, which means that the Canucks are not allowed to practice (in BC) until at least then. I’m guessing training camp will be in Alberta...

I am learning to pick battles that are worth fighting.
Today's topics are adding a sweetner to fix a cap problem that doesn't exist or why doesn't the Canucks farm club have more young prospects on it even thought they have had three Calder Trophy finalists on it three years in a row.
Do I want to be part of that discussion? Fuk no. Have fun. - VANTEL

That's legit kind of boring
Hopefully they do it baseball style then playing a few games in a row vs each team. Limit travel.

Ya, 4 teams, Canucks, Jets, Canadiens and Sharks would need to start camp elsewhere
Boring? I believe there is no other way to do it other than baseball style. I’m hoping it will create playoff style hockey during the regular season. - bloatedmosquito
A Canadian team will be guaranteed a trip to semi-finals, which helps with the so-so 5v ratings they get, once Canadian teams are eliminated.
