Explain being forced out of vehicles on ferries in the name of safety so that you can mingle with hundreds during a pandemic. Some rules are an iq test, you fail to follow...
- Pres.cup

There's all kinds of rules that haven't made much sense. However, it doesn't mean the basic principles of slowing transmission or even stopping it shouldn't be followed enthusiastically.

The same people female doging about any kind of lockdowns or restrictions are the ones out there acting like nothing has changed in the past year.

I guess it's like any other scenario in life. Feel free to be stupid, but there are consequences to your actions.

Not sure why it has only been an issue now as it has been a part of Transport Canada rules for over a decade and only implemented by bc ferries a few years ago.

So did your dad when he was with the RCMP ignore provincial orders?
- VanHockeyGuy

lol that's a good question...
Not really something I can get into here will be attacked by the Narrative cop but what Dad did say is that he learned a sh!t ton of stuff working with the CIA when he was on the Airport Special Squad in Vancouver in the 70's. Said it opened his eyes to a great many things that would literally curl your hair if I told you here...

Probably best left unsaid to the crowd in here

There are people advocating against these things, that is truly the scary part.
- Nuckerwhatever

That people are advocating against discrimination? That's what's scary to you? Wow!

So, you're for mandatory vaccinations at the border? An answer of yes is xenophobic by definition.

You're for mandatory vaccinations for all citizens despite phase 4 not being concluded?

You're for the V cards to access dance halls, barbers, theaters, etc... because it's not just those who chose not to get vaccinated that will be discriminate against, anywith severe allergies can't get it, under 18yo can't get it, pregnant woman can't get it. You're OK with discriminating against these people?

I.... man, I can't even.

That's the problem. They could have temporarily suspended the law considering the pandemic. I get the "safety issues" which prompted the rule but this one is literally like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.

I remember staying in my vehicle for a long time, sometimes just to get a nap.

Jonathan Dahlén grabbed 3 primary assists this morning.

He’s had at least 3 points in 62% (!) of his games this year.

The 22-year-old is up to a ridiculous 28 points in 13 Allsvenskan games. #SJSharks

Is this fact based or is this shoot from the hip opinion?

I do agree, to do our best to stop the spread of transmission, the 3 factors need to be adhered to, distancing, hand washing and mask wearing.
No cheating.

- Reubenkincade

Its common sense. Since the masks are very ineffective, thinking you can get away with cheating amounts to transmission. Wear your mask but practice safe habits like you are not wearing one would be the best policy.

It's both fact and observation based, people think the mask keeps them safe so they are getting closer together then the 6 feet. They keep your gems from spreading, they don't stop all the germs.

It's an issue now because, in case you have not noticed, there is a global pandemic and if we want to reduce people being together, events less then 50 people, then putting hundreds of extra people on the main decks of the ferry is counter intuitive.

Are you suggesting to ignore one safety measure to encourage a different measure?
That is almost like saying,I have a mask on everything is safe.

This has existed for as long as i can remember.
When travelling as a youngster, I had to have vaccinations and inoculations to be allowed entry to other countries. Even had to carry a V card that showed this.
As a condition of my employment, I have to be vacinated.
Why is this scary to you?

Think about it like your car. Just because you got brakes, doesn't mean you don't wear your seat belt. Just because you wear your seat belt doesn't mean you don't need air bags.

Even with all those safety devices, there is still a chance of death (catching covid) but you are much safer.

The crazy thing is that this virus could have been beat long ago had everyone just done their part. Instead, you had clowns on the world stage downplaying it.
