Timra 5 Karlskoga 1 FINAL
Linus Karlsson 21:41 TOI 2 SOG
This might have been the best game I've seen Linus Karlsson play yet and he didn't even get on the scoresheet and his team lost big. He is not a quitter that is for certain.
------------------
Definitely not the strongest skater but he's really strong on the puck. Kind of like watching Mark Stone, slowly just dangle through teams.

Smart player. Only 21, he's got 2 or 3 years to get stronger. |

Hoglander's SHL loan is up in 3 days. He'll be here for quarantine in a week or less *probably. |

That's the problem. They could have temporarily suspended the law considering the pandemic. I get the "safety issues" which prompted the rule but this one is literally like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire.
I remember staying in my vehicle for a long time, sometimes just to get a nap. - golfingsince
I am not to familiar with why so many people need to be on the ferries to go back and forth from island to mainland, but maybe that is a big part of the problem. |

This has existed for as long as i can remember.
When travelling as a youngster, I had to have vaccinations and inoculations to be allowed entry to other countries. Even had to carry a V card that showed this.
As a condition of my employment, I have to be vacinated.
Why is this scary to you? - dbot
Lol, phase 4 is not completed.
A job you apply for is very different then going to get your hair cut or a pregnant lady wanting to dance..... |

That people are advocating against discrimination? That's what's scary to you? Wow!
So, you're for mandatory vaccinations at the border? An answer of yes is xenophobic by definition.
You're for mandatory vaccinations for all citizens despite phase 4 not being concluded?
You're for the V cards to access dance halls, barbers, theaters, etc... because it's not just those who chose not to get vaccinated that will be discriminate against, anywith severe allergies can't get it, under 18yo can't get it, pregnant woman can't get it. You're OK with discriminating against these people?
I.... man, I can't even. - Pres.cup

So, I guess Canucks can't do training camp there either, is Saskatchewan an option? - Reubenkincade
Penticton would be perfect if the BCHL bubble proposal falls through.

Bringing food and goods is a large part of it. Others might have seasonal homes and nearly a year into a pandemic you should have those types of logistics sorted out.
We're not where we were in March, we have more information and PPE available. Maybe I look at if differently because we've beaten back every outbreak we've had so far by nipping it in the bud. |

Manitoba is allowing the Jets to have training camp here.
Benning said he would like to have "longer term" prospects stay in Utica. So expecting 40-45 players plus staff at training camp.
Somebody is going to have to allow a few rules to be broken. Not a bad idea that if the NHL gets going, it gives people something to watch at home on TV. |

Yes, the Atlantic bubble works well and mandatory 14 day quarantining is a big part of that.
They refused to do that here in the west and have allowed eastern provinces like Alberta, roam freely into the province, without any quarantined.
Hats off to the fine folks in the Atlantic provinces. |

SOEC in Penticton would be perfect, 3 rinks, easy to bubble. |

It seems to me like you might believe these "discriminations" would be permanent. It would be a temporary measure as more people become vaccinated the virus numbers drop and things open up. |

Yeah MTS Iceplex has 4 different rinks in it. Where the Jets normally have their camps.

Weren't we discussing this in April? I'd say since then we've had the best quality of life since. Every now and then we buckle down a little but man all we did was get rid of it then keep everyone out.

Penticton is a fine choice.
I just realized a few days back, that the commissioner of BCHL, is a former resident of my hometown, a pretty good athlete back in his days.
Also, a high profile agent in the NHL is also from there, Kevin Epp.
Great to see people from a small community, succeeding in a much bigger stage. |

Yup.
Bubbles seem to be effective in reducing transmission, easing pressures on health care and keeping people healthy.
Bubbles, quarantines, masks and social distancing until a vaccine is introduced.
