Anybody know the best hockey app for a amazon fire stick? - Scott1977
I have a Roku and just use the NHL app as Chunk suggested. With the NHL app, you can pay to watch one team only or all teams depending on your interest and price point.
I also have the AHL app so I can watch the Hogs games. Same deal with options to get the single team package or all teams package.
The AHL packages are more affordable overall but you're lucky if any games are in HD. Replays are few and far between, too.
Instead, you see a lot of the side gimmicks and fan games that you would only see if you were at the arena. It's kind of amusing. |

The only thing I take issue with is the public funding of stadiums. It is asinine that that ever happens. If you have the backing to own a professional franchise, then you can figure out a way to construct or renovate a stadium and get the money back out of it. I also would, under those conditions, have no issue with owners moving a team in order to maximize both the team and the stadium potential.
How they run their businesses (both related and not related to the teams) is their concern. Without their immense wealth we likely don't have professional sports (at least not on the scale that we have them.
I see your point on the broadcasting station, but I doubt many, if any, hockey teams will be able to pull that off. Maybe Toronto, but outside of that I don't think there is enough of a driver for it. That said, I've been wrong before. - Chunk
That's why i don't believe what owners have to say=when they cry poor |

There are rumors that the first two rounds of the playoffs would be within your own division, i.e. 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3 then the winners of those play to determine the final four for the Cup. |

Then I'd set up my old black and white tv, now if we could bring back ONTV and try to watch the game with the black line wiggling around the middle, brutal |

For cheap-ass bastards like me, Bilasport on-line. Home and away feeds and sometimes in French also. Minimize the chat screen and maximize the feed.
I use chromecast to watch it on the big screen. |

Yet we looked forward to watching the games, especially against the North Stars. |

Reports that the NHL schedule won't be finalized and available until January. December is focused on hammering out protocol details. I assume those are health and safety protocols.
The delay on the schedule makes sense in that they haven't settled on divisions yet. The only thing that is 100% certain is an all Canada-team division. |

Seems like mid-January start date is slipping away - camps would have to start in less than three weeks. |

Nah the only reason they are starting later is those selfish players want to celebrate the holidays with their families |

I've seen two possible start dates lately: January 13 or 16.
Camps would open January 1 or 3 with non-playoff teams being able to start camps a few days prior, i.e. sometime between Christmas and New Year's Day.
But who knows what will be decided in the end. |

Went back and rewatched some of the Hawks playoff 'run'.
Dach needs to gain that assertiveness and willingness to just fire the puck at the net instead of looking for the extra pass, but I think that confidence will come in due time as he gets more experienced. However, he's going to be an absolute menace on opposing teams though. Cannot wait to watch him develop over the coming years. He's going to be a bonafide, elite 1C in this league. I have no doubt in that. Great job Stan and Co.
Also, Connor Murphy was a gem of an acquisition. He was really finding his stride at the end of the year and it would be a shame if we end up moving on from him eventually. Really hoping we find a way to extend him again as the stability we need with Keith/Seabs near retirement and de Haan playing on one leg. |

There was a older teacher I worked with he was kinda a dirty bold man (*not to the kids, but often talked about porn, etc.)
He built a bootleg onto box but it didn't work as well on the nighttime soft porn, so he knew I had a REALsubscribed converter and asked me several days in arowif ui check out what was happening in this flick, so I finally did and understood his confusion as it was a movie called Chatterbox and it talked....that was why the wavy lines and dialog didn't sync.
Remember when they did the playoffs as a special pay more add on?
I started VCR tape an hour early and 20 minutes in I got talon and Foley not realizing the feed was going out live 39 minutes before puck drop and every other word was an f-bomb...
