Alumni always seem to be considered even though most have absolutely no qualifications outside of playing hockey. Talk about country club. - bloatedmosquito
I don’t think you grasp the the qualifications concept, Burrows was not only a poster child on determination, desire and success, he is also an AHL assistant coach with Laval.
But hey your team already has one overrated AHL coach with Green I can see why you wouldn’t be receptive to a better version from the AHL. |

Regarding prized 2023 draft prospect Matvei Michkov's contract extension with SKA that runs through 2025-26 -- it bears mentioning that the number of Russians being selected in the annual CHL Import Draft has decreased from an average of 22 between 2013-2017, to 14 from 2018-2020

Just listening to Bob and his draft rankings.
#4 Matthew Beniers projects as a 2nd line center. |

Not many prospects project as 1C or top 2 D. Elite status & generational talent are not aplenty. |

Rumour has it Hoglander is still in Sweden playing hockey.
Good thing no one was at the airport to greet him. |

That should probably change because the word generational comes once a generation. Elite players make up 1 position of 3 on first lines. Maybe 2 if you're lucky.
So youre basically saying there is maybe 30 first line players in the league? out of the 93 that play the positions. |

Keep an eye on this kid, 2022 draft.

Hopefully he's got more then just hype behind him like Aatu Raty.
After world juniors last year, I couldn't understand how Raty was touted as a potential first overall pick.
I don't know how Bob and scouts put him in there top 10 this year. |

Alex Steen is going to retire. 1 year left at 5.75. Probably just LTIR for the year. Cap space for STL.
I'm thinking that Luo doesn't deserve the ring of honour for his cap recapture penalty. |

My take on the ROH is a lot ado about nothing. It is a pretty meaningless ceremony that makes some fans happy. Canucks players list over the 50 years is pretty crappy so to me it does not make a difference if the club wants to hang a picture of some guy that played here.
I will remember Luongo as a Florida Panther and a guy who didn't want to play here. His heart was always looking to find a way back to Fla. He had good and bad while he was here. If it makes some people happy then why not? No big deal. |

Played more games as a Panther than a Canuck and (frank)ed the Canucks. Straight up no to ROH, no matter who (frank)en cries about it. |
