No one is arguing the inconsistency in what’s considered “essential” and what’s not

You’re all over the place, pulling in random things that aren’t even what was being talked about
Avoid the tangents

- jdfitz77

How am I all over the place. People can think for themselves. If the government wants to step in cause supposedly we are mostly morons, then why not do it correctly and not the easy way.

Why wouldn't we jump on them instead of a guy that had 8 people over to HIS house?

But no bro you do you. Just say im jumping all around with my thoughts cause you dont agree with them. Say that im picking on protests cause you went to them and dont agree with me

I was assured that we'd all be dead from covid by now

Turns out its just another seasonal virus with a survival rate higher than that of most seasonal flus.....whoda thunk it

Just imagine how many people would be infected if the bars were filled to capacity for Bills games. My work was shut down for 2 months between March-May and a couple times subsequently for week-long breaks due to mini outbreaks. I get it. There is no perfect solution to this. If people could be relied upon to act more responsibly, there wouldn't be a need for regulation, but that's not going to happen. Thankfully all of this is almost over

The protests have NOTHING to do with this situation
Local businesses have NOTHING to do with it either

You keep bringing up side points that have nothing to do with him having ppl over
The above examples are u going off on tangents that just don’t correlate

*and btw,

the states totally locked down, have the same rate as the states that opened things back up

I mean my wife did everything right going into the school year, still got it 8 days after the kids were in

she literally did not leave the house weeks up to the opening of school and always wore a mask and washed a million times a day

didn't matter

Fields looks great too. He’s up there with Lawrence
- sbroads24

Oh God no no no no. Have you watched Fields at all this year? He’s looked very average way too much and was downright bad vs northwestern last weekend. I’d take Trey Lance before him and if I had a choice to try and rebuild Darnold or draft Fields, I’d keep Darnold.

6 QBs could get chosen in round1 this year
Hopefully the Pats choose wrong!

Yes that would be stupid. But i got a kolhs down the street with no restrictions ( other than mask like everywhere else ) and then bars and restaurants with restrictions that are crushing them.

Are panty house essentials? Christmas ornaments? How you think target was over the weekend? Were 1000s of people there for food?? I didnt see any videos of cops busting down there doors like gyms. Let me guess no $15,000 tickets

Double standard that hurts real people. Yea kinda pissed about. But guess im going off on tangents....

You can't guarantee that the 4 of 8 friends working from home didn't come in contact with someone with Covid prior to your party. That's why you don't hold the event. They could have had a mask-less relative over and didn't tell you, could have gone to Wegmans and caught it, could have talked for 5 seconds to the mailman, could have had a 10 second talk with their asymptomatic children and caught it. That's just the 4 of 8 friends. Are you gonna say the unemployed person stayed home 24/7 for 2 weeks prior to your party ? Doubt that happened. All 8 people could have been in hundreds of possible situations where someone wasn't wearing a mask. The point is - is that for 2 weeks prior to you party, you have no idea where these 8 people have been, who've they've been in contact with, who've they've had over, etc ... Unless each one of them were quarantined for 2 weeks prior to the party, you JUST DON'T KNOW FOR SURE. And risking catching Covid just to watch the Bills, or any reason, was not a good idea.

I realize you'll never say "Damn, you're right", but it's tough to sit idly by when the pandemic is raging across the world. It's just so frustrating to me when I see someone say "i'm gonna live my life" or "you can't stay cooped up forever". Sure you can. There's a pandemic going on, in case people have forgotten.

Is it a young person thing ? I'm 55. Seems to me that it's the younger generation that just doesn't give an F. Am I right ?

Freakin' kids !

Is that finalized or your projection?

I would think Poyer over Edmunds. I want my boy Micah in there but probably not gonna happen this year. Poyer is playing great

Edit: I see that's final. Damn, Poyer deserves to be there

You know after multiple post from multiple people things sometime sway? I said something about protest among other things hours ago and you and Pach said something about it. It was to show a double standard.

Have not been harping on protest. Also said things that conservatives would not like. But to say im going off on tangents is just a way to say im wrong your right end of convo.....

Kohls?
- ZiggyBuff

I've been baffled that Kohl's, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, etc... Have been open. Outlet stores - open.

The only places that should be open are stores that carry groceries, jobs that require physical presence, take-out restaurants and health facilities.

Protests were stupid. Rallies were stupid. Sturgis should have been nuked. Beaches should have stayed closed. Bars should have stayed closed. Masks should have been mandatory from the start. State borders should have been closed, with enforcement. The only reason I moved was because they weren't and I wanted the hell out of New York - Not for political reasons, for financial reasons. That state is un-livable unless you're making 65,000/year or more as an individual. There's a reason people keep leaving and I got out while I had a small opening - Because I honestly thought they were going to close state borders and take it more seriously. They didn't.

Every state should have agreed upon a set of rules. The name of our country is the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. UNITED. The leaders of every state, local and federal governments failed us. Few took it seriously. Few listened to experts. No one believed the scale of this disease. None of them worked together. Not conservatives, not liberals. All of them failed us. All of them.

Maybe it wouldn't have worked, but a mandatory 2-week lock-down of everything except essential travel - Work, grocery stores - should have been enforced. Law enforcement should have been everywhere. Masks should have been mandated. Stimulus checks should have been dropped during the shut-down to support people. Essentials should have been provided by the government.

This was an unprecedented event. And not only was our country and government not prepared for it, but they didn't make the right decisions repeatedly and still aren't.

Idk, but it seems things would’ve subsided for those two weeks, only to start spreading again when everyone came back out of seclusion.
