Would really want us to get in the playoffs this year. Most to see what this team is made of. Think we are too soft to get far in the playoffs

Unlike football I think team defense plays a bigger role in the playoffs. The game just changes . Need tenacity and dare I say.....some with size.

The eye test tells me our defense might be too small for this. Need some toughness with the skill. We need first 10 games of season of Risto.

Think Reinhard would disappear. Just a hunch.....kinda a hater.

Whos gonna win some of the big puck battles in the corners when the games on the line? Stahl maybe but hes only here 1 year.

Big year this year to see what we have before all the UFA and RFA next year......

“...but a mandatory 2-week lock-down of everything except essential travel - Work, grocery stores - should have been enforced.“
Idk, but it seems things would’ve subsided for those two weeks, only to start spreading again when everyone came back out of seclusion.

Still would have shown SOMETHING from our leaders. Some kind of effort.

Lol the moment I hit send I knew it wouldn't be long. Agree with you its a factor. How much is debatable.

Noticeably the game changes in hockey. Not as much in fooseball. Have not noticed that in other sports. Alot faster and ever shift is 1000%. Everyone hits even if thats not your thing.

Reminds me of the first week of the season when everyone is fresh. Which is weird cause they should be dead tired after 82 games plus. Gotta have the stallions and not a bunch of Vaneks.......some will do

Too small, or not good enough? I'd go the not good enough route. Size is not an issue.

No I completely agree with you.

You need to have the high end talent and you need to be able to score.

In the playoffs though it’s all heavyweights and you need to be able to score in different ways and defend.

I’ll always die on the hill that you need to be able to win the trenches in football and when push comes to shove you need to be able to run the ball and play top end defence.

In hockey it’s the same thing. High end offensive teams will qualify but you need to be able to grind through the playoffs and your goaltender needs to be one of your best players.

Wow some of those heights caught be off guard. Jokiharju at 6 feet?? But was talking more size as weight and height. Only one over 200 lbs is Risto and he only likes to play the first 10 games.

Hopefully Dahlin can be our Hedman.

Negatory. He is more likely to be a Lidstrom type, IMO. Lidstrom-lite.

Big Ben is cooked.

No running game whatsoever.

Steelers are in trouble

They’ll come back in this game and win only cuz Finley is really bad, but, not way they beat Indy and Cleveland the way they’re playing
