Lol

The debate from yesterday aside. It’s amazing how much this team always operates like it’s a high school team. Just always top level incompetence

I cannot believe they are going in with the same two goalies right now.

It’s absolutely incredible

They both had runs of just awful play. Ullmark less so but he was brutal on a lot of occasions

- sbroads24

I thought Ullmark improved his positioning a lot last year but he was absolutely brutal on penalty kills.

So you’re back to crediting the run game and not the “threat of the pass” but when Cleveland stomped Tennessee through the air it was because the “threat of the run”

You just go back and forth from narrative to narrative

“Daring the chiefs to run” in the very last sentence of that same post.

Right and my horse has everything to do with how you win in the playoffs against elite opponents.

But for arguments sake in the one matchup against the Chiefs this year was Kansas City not balanced on offence because the game dictated them to be ?

In the battle of quite possibly the two best teams in the AFC and two best QB’s in the AFC the Chiefs running game was a huge part of winning that game due to the Bills forcing their hand and daring them to beat them on the ground.

Sure if everything goes out way they could be ok. I wouldn’t bank on it.

It was a no brainer position to upgrade with multiple trade/FA options out there

We don’t have a #1 goalie and our #2 might not be playable

There’s just no excuse

- sbroads24

Do we get Hall and Staal if we get a goalie?
I think Ullmark isn't far off from being a full time starter especially since he had to do a lot of the lifting last year on the back end.
Shortened season can only help this team the way we've played the last couple years.

It’s almost like the 49ers didn’t go to the Super Bowl last year with like 180 yards passing combined in two playoff games last year.

They listened to Sbroads though and tried to throw their way through the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl and lost because of it.

The 49’ers are successful because they lost a SB

Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees are unsuccessful because they’ve only won 1 super bowl

No, none of them won a super bowl this decade.

49ers though have played in more then both Rodgers and Brees have this decade though.

Not arguing that but can a guy make a highlight reel save at least once? He doesn't have to be Hasek but you're in the NHL guy, look like it.

Sabres are going to lose a lot of 5-4 4-3 games this year.
- Stripes77

I am confident that with 2 maybe 3 good scoring lines they will turn a lot of 5-4 4-3 losses into wins.

Lazy take.

That award is biased towards QB’s because that’s the way it’s “always been”

Just like MVP of the regular season.

Such a load of crap though the amount of position players that were truly deserving of the award

Its biased towards QB’s for a very distinct reason - they’re the reasons why their teams win

There are QB’s you can win with, and not necessarily because of.

The Rams don’t win because of Jared Goff, but they do win with him.

The Saints this year haven’t won because of Drew Brees, but they are winning with him. In fact the Saints are 10-1 in their last 11 games while Brees has been hurt the past two seasons. 4 of those games QB’d be a TE with the other 7 QB’d by the same guy at the helm of the 4-10 Panthers.

The Browns the last few weeks have won because of Baker Mayfield which is a change of pace.

The Texans sure as hell aren’t losing because of Deshaun Watson. Ditto Justin Herbert in LA.

QB wins as a stat are misleading, QB MVP’s are too for the most part.

I don’t understand how Mahomes wins MVP last year when if the Chiefs don’t shut down the 49ers they are down by a lot more than 10 points and his late game heroics would have just been garbage time passing numbers

Okay okay ..... the Sabres just posted a “we’re back” video.

How the heck isn’t the team back together practicing already?

Other teams have been doing that for awhile. What have our players been waiting for?

Not sure I would throw Goff, rams and winning in the mix to make your case 48 hours after they lost to the Jets
