Ben looked lost. Almost defeated as well.

I very much enjoyed ju ju getting smoked.
Wonder why Tomlin hasn't said anything?
He shouldn't need too really.

Meh.

Some good for Cozens but he was mostly rusty and not himself.

Quinn’s positioning was fine for the most part but was more or less a passenger.

- Pegullaville

That’s fair and makes sense. The USA game yesterday was much of the same sloppy / rusty game

Hey, so is a rookie leading his team in TD receptions "very good" or nah?

Off-topic discussion of the day :

Why do some MF-er's not cover their nose with their mask ? What the F is that ??? Not covering your nose is totally defeating the purpose of the mask. Then there's the morons that just wear the mask on their chins. Ugh ...

Those signs you see at businesses...the ones that say "Masks must be worn at all times in this building" SHOULD say "Masks must be worn covering your mouth and nose at all times in this building".

Go Sabres.

Carry on.

I’d say that’s pretty good.

Shows the diversity in the offence to be able to beat in you different ways.

I think the last several weeks have revealed the path Beaner must choose for next season. Brown is a goner and Milano signs for a 1 or 2 year deal at a lower than originally projected contract.

Now, if Brown comes back and the Offense goes for 450 yards passing each game, welp, that would be a horse of a different color.

People have forgotten how good John Brown is. He was magnificent in that Seattle game. We have a Ferrari of an offense and I would hate to see them cut ties with Brown. Cut Matekavich or someone else

Dach is out for the tournament.

Somewhere Jeff Gorton is smiling and puffing out his chest to all the people hating on him for not letting Lafreniere play in the tournament.

He has been GREAT or really, really, really very good. No doubt, no argument.
The issue is Cap hit and who can more easily be replaced.
For me, Brown us more easily replaced as evidenced by the team's offensive production whilst he has been out. Not so for Milano, except for about 3 games before Milano came back...his production against the pass and the run is difficult to replace and was missed.
While it isn't a strict 1:1 decision, it sort of is a choice between two $9m+ contracts

With the Cap at say $225m this season going down to say $175 - $185m ... that is a poop ton of maneuvering required.

Yeah, if that happens then there will be a lot of painful decisions. More than just Brown

World juniors success can launch a kid later draft stock and launch a hockey career.

The experience is worth the risk of cozens and Quinn playing

John Brown magnificent
Gabe davis 4th round rookie 6 tds
Beasley having his best year ever
Diggs pitting up the best season ever as a Buffalo Bill

Could it be JA17 and 3 weeks ago he finally figured out how to read a defense? 😀

Its Josh and daboll and beane too. Mostly Josh

I appreciate the shout out, but I really never liked vanek.
He looked like he had the talent, but didnt give %100. Didnt live up to his contract. Busy gambling
- could just be his style of play.

Pommer was/is an overachiever. A guy that worked hard to rise his game to captain of the Sabres. Quiet leader. ---Clutch scorer
Off ice good guy

Merry Christmas fitz - hope you have a great one 🙂

36 - how about john brown and his 1 year left for jordan Phillips and his 2 years left?

I really like john brown, but I think we miss Phillips and clearly star.

Bet star is regretting his decision at times.

Think Phillips misses are scheme just as much. Like Brown and he brings a lot. Hard decisions next year by teams and players. Cap is gonna kill some teams. New Orleans would be 86mill over the cap if it drops to 180mill.

Sabres are a huge wild card.

It all comes down to Ullmark taking the next step for me.

If Ullmark can be solid and consistent and the PK figures it out the sky is the limit.

Hall and Eichel together could be magic and be the best duo in the entire league.

Staal giving us average 2C performance brings Skinner back to life.

Dahlin is going to explode this year as long as Kreuger allows him to do what he’s capable of and doesn’t hold him back.
