I liked Leivo too. Versatile winger who was strong on the walls and was just fast enough to be effective. He was a good fit for the way the Canucks are planning to play.

But he also hasn't played in a year. There's some risk his injury may prevent him from returning to his previous form. Unfortunately for him there are a lot of options capable of filling the role he plays.

Why have you made 150 posts complaining about the kid in the last week? He is a 3rd round selection that was drafted a few months ago who was ranked significantly higher. He may pan out out or he may suck to early to tell. So perhaps shut the (frank) up for a bit. At least he isn’t a fat midget with a cookie addiction

I would absolutely love it if Podkolzin comes in and hits the ice running like Boeser did, same goes for Hoglander, who I really hope makes it...even for a really small player. That kids got drive, work ethic, puck skills, sincerely hope he makes it!!
