I saw this on Twitter. A message from someone suggesting that any Drafted players should probably consult their team or agent before showing support for the anti-masker.
Anyway, which side would you like to argue? I’ll take the counter point. - 1970vintage
Should always follow what the government tells you, no matter what.
You're gonna have to do a little better than this.
Not sure how the AHL is gonna work. Mikey needs to be starting games at this point. Taxi squad isn't the place where this happens. - Load Management
Yeah that's the question. I think Mini brought it up. What's better lesser quality depleted AHL time or practice time with NHL caliber?
I am not a goalie guy so thought you might know better what works for them. Working on their skills or just in game time. I know perfect world both lol. I'm not sure what's better for the Canucks and Mikey D at this point.

Game time for Mikey. He needs to develop and build on the good year he put together in Utica. Coaching and practice isn't the same. All Goalies want to play.
It's not the talent end of it, I don't want JB to get into a bidding war for this guy. In a year the bad deals start to go away, don't add another unless it's on a short term team friendly deal. - VanHockeyGuy
JB's not out bidding anyone so far seems to be keeping term low. Looks like they are looking for a deal long term on an RFA they can fit in or just play the kids. Back up plan is Pods and Tryamkin if they can get them playing before the TDL.

Sounds good. So who can they bring in for the reliable 3rd stringer?
Lol, have at er. She lives with her husband in the US. Think they are in Arizona maybe? But feel free to get your strength back imagining it - 1970vintage

Hoffman is 31 now. JB walked away from two players that wanted term at that age. Team friendly two year deal.
Tanner Pearson was the 3rd highest scoring player from the 2012 draft last season.

As far as I know the AHL is starting later so I figure they'll keep DiPietro around for a few weeks. Not sure from there who will want to sign for a seat in the press box, in some bubble rink yet to be determined, waiting for an injury. Maybe we luck out on early season waivers?
