It's well established that governments operate
altruisticly for their citizens well being and not at all for political gains. From Nixons war on drugs to Trumps war on immigration, these policies are made for the greater good of the citizens on a whole.
Never question what the ministry of truth tells you.
War is Peace. Freedom Is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.

What about that kid they drafted playing in Europe? They could keep Mikey D on until AHL season start. It might overlap the end for Euro league to bring in the other guy for Taxi squad and some skills grooming with Clarke too.

He's Suspended for a month or something. I have no idea why, no one has said why.

I'm pretty sure Nighthawk ruled I had won that one.

Seravalli notes that NHL players have the right to opt out of the 2020-21 season, but the league “may investigate any circumstances … that these provisions were intentionally used to, or had the effect of, circumventing the CBA” for salary cap purposes.

There goes the idea of LE skipping out to get Hoffman and Hamonic and Schneider

The Russians want to power through it but it's the pansy Canadians that don't want to play

They are retiring due to injuries. Well they should be forced to retire not LTIR.

Next CBA contracts not guaranteed for 35 & over. Allows a team to walk away but cannot be an imbalanced contract from year to year.

Also don’t allow front loaded & such high signing bonus laden contracts.

As far as I know the AHL is starting later so I figure they'll keep DiPietro around for a few weeks. Not sure from there who will want to sign for a seat in the press box, in some bubble rink yet to be determined, waiting for an injury. Maybe we luck out on early season waivers?
- Load Management

Practicing with NHL shooters and working with Ian Clark daily for 6 months could be more beneficial to Dipietro's long-term development than playing 35 games for Utica.

I disagree. He needs the intensity and structure of games. As many as he can get because practice is nowhere near the same.

He took a nice step in Utica last year. He needs to be given the chance to take another. They love him there, it's his team to carry. I'd rather see what he can do as the guy there because that's how he develops as a starter.
