I think you have a version of Thornton in your mind that doesnt exist anymore. I think we'll see Kerfoot back at C within a couple weeks. Or maybe even a trade if Jumbo is as slow as he's likely to be.

Cirelli's ppg is similar to Willy's, and he plays C which is always more valuable than a winger. He also has a solid defensive game (+28 last year) and would likely cost less. With the emergence of Robertson, Willy becomes expendable.

Im sorry that i dont think adding the slowest player in the league to play a 3C role is a recipe for success, but thats what Dubas did.

They havent taken a step forward under his leadership, three years is plenty of time to implement all the personnel you want. We'll see how this season goes.
